I liked all the coolness in the backgrounds, a lot of artists don\'t do that. I would suggest looking at other artists who draw \"cartoony\" well and see how they incorporate anatomy into their abstractions. fo sheazy.

Evin-I think you would really benefit from taking on some battles with longer deadlines, there is no shame in taking on a 3 or 4 week battle so that you can ensure you\'ll be able to make a quality product. At least until you get the swing of doing battles and know that you can handle it. Story wise this was very cute and I enjoyed it, while it was nothing ground breaking it was plenty entertaining. I would like to see you spend more time on your backgrounds since buildings are never just a bunch of cubes with nothing on them. I think coloring wise it would help you to push your shading a bit more since everything is fairly close in value, it would really help give your work a little more depth.

Page 1 tripped me up a little; some of the panelling was confusing. I thought the page 2 layout was clever, though. But I agree with Zsa about the pacing.

Only thing I can say is take a bit more time on your lines they look look a bit shakey.  I like that you added a gradient to give some volume to your characters.  But I think with your style of art cel shading would look much better.  Anywho keep up the good work

This was rather interesting, Evin.
I liked the story, it\'s a fair one for a three pager. The pacing did bug me though, it was very slow in the first page, and super in page 2. And for example, from the first pane lto the second, in page 2, he just changes for a super speed flight, to a scale analysis, so maybe and intersection to it, such as a landing. OR this change could be done from a page to another, perhaps.

I like it\'s fully finished, but you could try to take more time on the drawings, but not bad, not bad at all!

All done. I really had no idea what to do here, and wasn\'t really ready for another fight so soon. I just didn\'t really understand the concept of Open Challenges yet, and felt, like \"OH SHIT, HERE IS THIS COOL PERSON WHO WANTS TO FIGHT ME. I SHOULD SAY YES.\" so I did and promptly slacked off until this weekend. So yeah. It\'s short, and not terribly fantastic, but I got it done, and tried something new, so I call that a success. Can\'t wait to see my competition here.
