Sixtem: Nuuuu! I\'m so sad you defaulted! Perhaps next battle though. Hope you weren\'t jumbled up with too much stuff, Dude!
Ronin: There\'s some improvements on your anatomy, and that is good. A few panels you have some large heads compared to your body, or wrong leg lengths, so continue to work on that.
Aside from that, put some work into your perspective- sometimes free-handing buildings is okay if you want it to be related to your style, but I feel as though for your style, it seems like
you should straighten out your lines on your buildings and fix up your perspective. I would suggest using a ruler for your text boxes and also for lining up that text if you plan on continuing to hand write your dialogue. You have some great cross hatching and I imagine that as you progress, that will turn into some SWEET ASS shit when you get other stuff down right.
As Pong mentioned, use your levels to adjust your line art. You could also use a nice gaussion blur to help clean some lines up.
(Duplicate your lineart layer, Filer>Blur>Gaussion Blur (around... 1.2 depending on the size) then simply set that extra layer to Soft Light or Hard light on your layer options.) It will get rid of some excess stuff and darken things up a bit without making the lines TOO crisp like Levels or Curves would do.
Keep working on it though! You\'re doing fine!

Sorry for the bad handwriting, I felt like doing it by hand is more personal, I guess. Thanks for the comments, and the criticism- I will definitely do better on my next battle that I have planned out.
Anyways, Pages 1 and 2 should be switched. I thought I uploaded them in the right order, but I might be wrong.

*correction you guys had 2 weeks+extension and it was my mistake for giving an extension since 2 weekers aren\'t meant to. I\'ll make sure that doesn\'t happen again.

Sixtem-shame on you, you had 4 weeks+a week extension, you had to have done at least something.
Ronin-I find as you start going further from Matsumoto\'s style, I start to enjoy your work more. I felt like artistically this battle was more close to being *you* and not Matsumoto which was a big step forward. I agree with Pong about the anatomy issues, shrink those heads down some and let those legs grow a little. Now I wish you would have typed that apology page out haha if you\'re going to have a page of excuses be nice and make it readable. (okay that\'s not really a serious crit) Really I\'m just extremely disappointed you weren\'t able to finish since this started out so strong and was looking great.

Sixtem, I found your entry lacking (ah ha ha ha haaaaw - *removes and cleans monocle)
Ronin you\'re getting a little bit better with proportions, but you still seem in the habit of either giving people disproportionately large heads or short legs. Also, fiddle with the levels in photoshop after you scan try to get your whites white, and if you want those dark areas to be black, then adjust them so that they are.
