Betito> That was really confusing, people just jumped in from no where and I didn\'t really read all your work so jumping in from now was just too confusing. Anyway the art okay, I\'m not a big fan of the style since I think sometime you could work a bit more on details, work a bit more on face expression and use thiner line for some parts of the body. The backgrounds could get a bit more work, it\'s just a lot of black spaces you could fill a bit more. Your character just seem to live in a black background world.

Anyway, the font was just not good, try finding better ones for your next battle.
Hope to see more from you!

Jaws> I don\'t see the point if you are never doing the actual battle. It\'s just so useless.

jaws, you blockhead!

others, quit dwelling on jaws & spend more time commenting on betito\'s since he took the time to submit something.

Betito! not bad man! i see some improvement between this & your last. i\'d not only agree with angie & tell you to cut down on the font use, but also, make the size of the text consistent in each balloon. it seems a lot like you\'re taking the text, typing it up & then scaling it to fit the balloon, which is backwards. take the text & then make the balloon fit the text. at the very least, hold shift when you\'re scaling so it at least doesn\'t get squished in one direction or the other. otherwise, i\'d vary up your linewidths some. it\'s good in some areas but in others it made things a bit hard to read. but the way you were drawing the faces didn\'t put me off like your last battle. just keep on practicing

\"angieness: If Toast doesn\'t force retire you and you default one more time, I\'ll take your character away myself with a death match. Sorry if this is bitchy sounding in any way, but repeat defaults are terrible and waste everyone\'s time.\"

yeah, I was really confused by the story, there were people coming out of nowhere, the art was pretty good, just work on anatomy and perspective.

Dragon-dan: Thanks, I wanted to mix bigunos and boytoys, I was worried that seems a little \"The Butcher\" ( sorry my english again ).

Nobody\'s gonna want to fight against you anymore if ya keep it this way Jaws!

-Betito:
I have to admit I was way confused in the story telling sometimes. I had the feeling that you wanted to convey too many things for what the panel could handle. So try to work on your panel planning a bit more. I suggest that when you finish your sketches you get someone to read it first before you finish so he/she can tell you if it was confusing or nicely smooth. But don\'t ask a super close friend...sometimes their judgement is a bit altered when they like you too much héhé^^ (that\'s just a tip)

Also, you have anatomy problems from time to time, so be careful with that..

Finally : WAY TO GO ON YOUR PAGE 8! That one was awsome =^_^=

Keep it up man!

Jaws, while I understand hurricane Ike has left many places without power, considering your last 2 battles were defaults, I can\'t help but feel as if the hurricane has nothing to do with this. My apologies if it was indeed the hurricane but you can\'t blame me for assuming otherwise with your record. If Toast doesn\'t force retire you and you default one more time, I\'ll take your character away myself with a death match. Sorry if this is bitchy sounding in any way, but repeat defaults are terrible and waste everyone\'s time.

betito-You\'re still going font crazy dude! Just stick to one font for dialogue, it\'s fine to use a few different ones for sound effects. I like that you really made the characters your own and are working on building up a story, I\'m curious about what\'s in store for Sable. I think you\'re improving on your perspective and backgrounds, make sure to keep working on those. I think there were a few areas where I was confused by what was going on like on page 12 in the top panel. I understand that he\'s being deflected or something but the pose you have for Sable isn\'t working so well there and feels like he\'s on the ground. I would also like to see you continue trying to tighten up your inking since it gets shaky in some areas, especially where there\'s a lot of black like when you have it in the backgrounds.
