pretty nicely done sixtem. obviously you\'re taking short cuts with the turn around, other wise more backgrounds would have been nice. more consistent anatomy & varying your shots a little more would have helped pushed it more.

Sixtem, I just wanted to say real quick that you are already one of my artistic favorites of Void. You passed me over a long time ago, friend, and I hope you don\'t mind me using you as a goal to work toward.

sixtem- Its been a while since I\'ve read a Void battle that left me realizing my mouth had been open the entire time I was reading it. The sneakily laced in level of humanity and \'reality\' in this comic took me by surprise and had me going to the next page really curious as to what would happen next. That and even if its spelled wrong, seeing Jakob say my name totally grabbed me. XD

The cliffhanger has me really amped to see what you have in store for us next.

Shame to see ODK default, but dayum - hope yo see more cool art soon

Sixtem - Strong stuff. What I think I like best out of all of it is the linework, just plain good rendering when it comes to body language, with all the little details thrown in but kept cartoony. I really like it. You made good use of stark black. I think I would\'ve liked to see a few more graytones in there, personally - but it was fine as it was.

Visually, this might be your best comic Six.  I got a little impatient with he story at first (the whole wife bit came off as silly, and SDT focused story lines are always a bad idea), but overall everything actually ended up good.

TODK: I hope you stick around.  You\'re rad.

TODK-It\'s a shame you defaulted, but I hope you intend on sticking around on Void since I like your work

Sixtem-This was a pretty big step up from the last round. I really enjoyed the interaction between the characters on this and I didn\'t mind that the story wasn\'t the most original thing ever. It looks like you\'re having some difficulties drawing hands and I would like to see the camera change around from time to time, especially during action scenes. Don\'t feel as though you have to always show the characters\' faces, it\'s okay to show the backs of heads and such. Keep at it dude, I look forward to what you do in the next round

Sixtem: Line-wse that\'s a very cool jump from what I saw in round one, though it had less full blacks, the changing of them to gray shadows came REALLY cool. The really match nicely!
I liked the story a lot, since I love the fighting types the best, and the conenction with David\'s wife was cool! I think something it would be nice to work on is the motion panels, where he\'s hitting David. The first punch was cool, then the second one looks kind of stiff, since it looks it will still land. Maybe it would work if David was sent flying or having an impact in the next panel!

Great stuff!
TODK: You\'d better send this as a BB! >:T. Or return as a regular citizen!!

sixtem, your story was good for what it was, I think; I mean, I understand that it wasn\'t a particulary *unique* set-up, but the pacing seemed even (coming form someone who doesn\'t really know what that is) and it was a nice read. I think that\'s more important.
Keep doing what you\'re doing... and make the kind of comics you want to make.

Dark Knight: Been there done that, I\'ve never defaulted- but that\'s a no no! Life happens though, and that is more important. Good luck next time, Dear!

Sixtem: Maybe it\'s just that I haven\'t been around in a long time, but I\'m loving how your style has progressed. I totally dig the emotions and action. Such progression! Your action panels were full of life, and I\'ll be hard and say- DONE RIGHT. Many people I noticed draw an attack connecting to the persons body like... a fist ON/AGINST the face, rather then it passing by and showing what had happened. (It\'s hard to explain, so I hope you understand what I mean... it was something I learned in school..) My only thought is just smoothing our your lineart. If you have Photoshop, adding a Gaussion Blur by a few points could help that if its high dpi and is being resized. Other than that, add some more contrast.

Your story was OKAY, it was the cliche \"HI, KILL YA, BYE, WHAT HAPPENS!\". We\'ve all seen it. THOUGH, it works for an SDT I guess?

Dark Knight, don\'t worry too much about this alright? While people are going to be disappointed, you can make up for this later on by getting a new fighter in and maybe fight in some 3-4 week matches to get comfterble. Real life tends to happen throughout tournaments like this, and it happens in regular fights as well.

Sixtem: Pretty decent man, a much better showing than your last fight. I wasn\'t too fond of the story honestly, maybe it\'s just me though and having read the last SDT\'s battles... Anywho, not fond of the whole meet, greet, then kill story, but you definitely put your best foot forward on this fight, so props for that.

Not to worry! It was still fun to draw the comic. And hell, it\'s not like I haven\'t defaulted twice.

I know how ya feel, man. I just finished up my final projects for senior year. Stinks that you got overloaded, but you had an awesome debut on Void. I hope you come back as a regular, I really enjoyed your first comic!

Just a tip then, if you\'re still interested, you can finish those pages later, and send them as a Beyond Battle, EVEN if David is dead.

Ah, son of a bitch. Sorry to be lame sixtem, but I think I\'m going to have to drop out of this match. I came into this round expecting to do an awesome comic and I had a lot of great ideas but things just piled up, the least of which have been midterms this week. Sorry to notify you this late but I\'m sitting here with only 3/4 of one page penciled out of 5 or 6 planned, a midterm tomorrow, 200+ pages of reading to do, and class.

Good luck in the rest of the tournament. It was a fun first round here at void and I might pop back over here with a proper character at some point. Cheers everyone, thanks for the comments and criticism, just don\'t think I\'m going to be able to pull this one through.
