When it came to Entertainment, it was a tough choise between Jong\'s Kuofuyo cameo, and RSM\'s thrilling ...? to be continued.  I\'m a sucker for that kind of stuff.  If you win it would be cool to progress the character with technology from Mortido\'s gizmo.
And as people are already saying, props for Jong for such an out-of-the-box setting.  I definitely forget that these fights can be whenever whatever, Void City is an option.

Mortido\'s fight just had so much MORE to it.  As I was reading Jong Bom\'s side, I was thinking, \"wow, he really wants to LIVE.\"  The style\'s a bit messy, but it didn\'t bother me because of the sheer amount of detail throughout.

Meanwhile, RoboSock\'s side looked really bare by comparison... maybe Mortido\'s story was a bit hard to follow, but in RoboSock\'s, nothing actually HAPPENED, as far as I can tell.  Robo may be the more skilled artist, but I didn\'t really see him busting out with said skills.

For me, it\'s not even a tough choice.  I think Mortido should win.

While I had a hard time reading the hand writing in the beginning of Mortido\'s, I really didn\'t have much difficulty figuring out what was going on since I instantly made the connection with the opening text and what was going on in the battle. I really liked the location you chose for this to happen in, since most people on Void typically just go for a city setting it was nice to see something different. My only complaints are I wish you would have stayed a lot more consistent. That and it might have added a little more to the death to maybe have another page after the death panel of dead Robosock to make it not seem so abrupt.

Robosock\'s on the other hand actually did confuse me haha Why are these dudes attacking Mortido? It also seemed as if the battle could have been done without Robosock even being in it since he was just kind of there. A lot more build up to the death and maybe a clear reasoning for Robosock being in the fight itself would have made things make a little more sense to me. You did however have the edge in quality for consistency\'s sake. Whether you win or lose I would love to see you push yourself even further on your inks since it\'s always been something I\'ve enjoyed in your work.

I gave Jong Bom a higher score for creativity, Robosock higher for quality and equal scores for entertainment since both fights had their rough moments.

I really enjoyed Jongs concept and story. The prophet ears, creepy dimensions, big warrior bugs?  I mean really- how much more epic can you get?
This totally has me itching to check out your previous Mortido battles, Jong. ;)
I guess people were expecting death done with flair, but I rather enjoyed that the killing blow was anti-climactic. Maybe its the artsy fartsy mentality talking, but it really brought home the frailty of life and how, once its extinguished, usually doesn\'t go in a blaze of glory. You get so used to superhuman Void fighters taking bullets, knives, laser burns without batting an eyelash that mortality tends to get forgotten.

All in all I agree- giving this one to Mortido. <3

Robo has a cleaner style that makes is easy to read and I do like the way he draws characters. However the story left me going \'what was the point?\' and it didn\'t feel like a \'death match\' at all. More like \'gee, I saw a kid get randomly shot in the street and picked up a new toy...\' There was no real interaction, no real oomph to it at all... and it felt sort of half-assed. And Mort felt very very... um... bland and didn\'t really seem to do much. Hell, neither character did much. It left me feeling a bit cheated and wanting. He got points for art, but poor scores in the other two.

On the other hand, Mort\'s entry was a bit messy and the art wavered, but it felt far more like a death match and caught my interest FAR more. It was quirky, it made me wonder about the characters and situation, and it had more action and direction from both characters. I like that it didn\'t take place in VOID... after all, more battles should probably do that. And it was a real reach. I enjoyed the oddities, the monsters, and the action. The art was not up to snuff in some places, but you got much higher marks for me in the other two areas.

Basically, Mort appears to have done a deathmatch. Robo\'s is nice to look at but left me going \'Wait, was that a deathmatch?\' I have to give this to Mort.

I guess its because im good at decrypting plots but I enjoyed Jong\'s for it\'s daring pacing and action. The bit with the ears seems to come out of nowhere in relation to his character but I\'m not arsed by it at all. The noise thing was pretty interesting as well. And the way he does that monkey with a gun was just tons of fun, screaming bug parts and all. Cant really comment much on character usage since I\'ve no idea how RSM got warped in that era/galaxy.  But yeah- some stuffs too condensed.

SockMonkey\'s story was pretty straight to the point making it good for simplicity, but I didn\'t feel like much happened between RSM and Harry by way of character interaction/confrontation save the staredown with the killers which only left me wanting to see more. Maybe I\'m an action buff, but not much felt like was at stake here, usually when fighting someone to the death I\'d like to know the kind of person they are. In any case the art is definitely one over for consistency  yet I\'m still shady at what actually happened in the early  pages.

Good Job both of you. And let the victim come back anytime to learn from these sort of things.

I didn\'t particularly like either entry. However Robosock had the better art if for nothing else than it was consistant. It was easier to follow.

I think a death match ought to be your best work. You are trying to keep your character from being taken off of void forever and you both seemed to have mailed it in.

Colors? Oh god...

Jonq Bom: In all honesty dude, you didn\'t have a very good start with your comic with the colored pages, first page looked like you completely forgot to get rid of the pencil marks giving all of the linework and panels a white halo, second page had your coloring seeping out of the panels they were supposed to stay within. If you\'re going to do digital colors, please make sure that you can clean up the stray marks and bits that go outside of the lines.

Last thing from me, why did you bother with that first page? It seemed to have no place within the story aside from mentioning noise, which was only brought up again and explained after he met koufuyo and found robosock. Aside from that, I wasn\'t really impressed with this, the quality just kept going downhill after each page, and if you are going to color, keep it consistent, don\'t go from full colors, to black and white, to just line art. That\'s not a very good habit, if you\'re going to do one thing, do it as often as you can until you feel like you can\'t do it anymore.

Robosock: I really do like how stylized you make each figure in your comics, the story was much easier for me to digest as well, however, there wasn\'t a whole lot in this comic now despite how consistent you made everything. There\'s just a shit ton of negative space here in this fight, a ton of white space where there could be something put in there! Don\'t be afraid to add just a little bit more dude, even if it\'s just some grey marker work or something, fill up those empty voids dude.

Other than that, I thought that Mortido just getting killed off so easily was just a bit too easy and anti climactic, I\'m honestly not a big fan of the character, but a little bit more is desired from me at least.

Vote goes to Robosock for having the better quality.

Lol, cameo!

Both battles were most interesting indeed, however I must give this one to Jong because he had a tad more substance and color to boot.
