Sorry everyone I really messed this one up. There were many things going on while this comic was being produced. Next time I\'ll do a better job, perhaps I should create a comic that explains the nature of koufuyo; perhaps by doing that some things will be made clear.

Phil- Typo: \"Shirley\" misspelled as \"surely.\"
I was quite entertained by your comic; some dialogue struck me as cliché but otherwise the story seemed pretty strong. I thought it got sort of weak when Phil was distracting Kou, though. It didn\'t make sense to me that they would think \"This guy talked about believing in brethren or something.. let\'s make fun of him!\" and that was how they decided to defeat him? I don\'t know. Am I missing somthing?

Kou--There wasn\'t a lot of meat to this story; it was just cats falling from the sky and then he fights Phil, and that was all. And I agree that the alliteration thing is fun, but I think it was a bit overdone; I wasn\'t really comprehending what he was trying to communicate in his dialogue. I\'m sure there are a lot of OTHER things that make this character interesting; play up on those things too, not just the way he talks.

Um.... yeah, what Kotori said.  ^^;

Phill, this definitely could\'ve been your best battle yet if you had finished the inks, and yeah I KNOW I have no room to say that.

Koufuyo, even considering leeway for different artists to re-interpret different characters, you pretty much blew it.  I mean, you didn\'t make Phill do something kind of out-of-character, you absolutely MASSACRED the character.  At least, I think you did.  I really couldn\'t tell what was going on.  You need to learn to look at yourself objectively, or you\'re never going to get better.

And... Kotori used the word \"dude.\"  My world of preconceived notions is rapidly falling apart... @_@

Phil: I am majorly annoyed at you. VERY annoyed. This battle was coming along far better than your previous works. Your humans were a bit better(though you must work on your anatomy! Do more figure sketches and human gestures without doing ANY furry art for awhile and it will help) and the storyline was actually interesting and not the same damn \'hero-knows-best against bad-guy with some emoness thrown in\'... and you wrote your opponent VERY well. BUT YOU DIDN\'T FINISH. You have HORRIBLE time management skills and you MUST get over it. You\'ve had it since I\'ve been here and you haven\'t yet gotten a grip on it. I wanted to give you higher marks but I CAN NOT, in all honesty, give an unfinished work higher marks than a finished one, however confusing it was. I know you were in the hospital. You were there for 2 DAYS. You had a MONTH to do this match. If you were back on the computer a few days later, you could have been back to work on the comic, esp if what you had were seizures. Computer screens are not the thing to be at, or any screens in general, unless the situation has been handled(either through medication or it being cleared up otherwise) and if you could be in the chat, on AIM, and so on you could have been working on the comic. I don\'t want to hear you milking the 2 days in the hospital anymore. It wasn\'t THAT big of an issue in a MONTH LONG battle. Learn to focus on things more. If you have a commitment you need to follow through. Figure out what distracts you, like video games, and schedule things to allow you time to play as well as get work done. I know people who lay out \'one week to do pencils, one week to work on pens, the rest to tone and color\' if they have longer matches. I give you kudos, again, on the writing this time. But God DAMNIT, learn to finish these things without extensions. I have a feeling you aren\'t going to get them again for awhile.

Kou: Alright, you write your character VERY well. You have a unique style and interesting coloring. But dude... if I can not understand what the hell is going on, I can\'t give you high entertainment marks. Also, work on your anatomy. Sure, your character is all weirded out, but you need to be able to do other characters properly as well. My biggest issue, however, was your opponent. Where was Phil? I saw a deranged weird cat-thing that didn\'t really do much at all, didn\'t even talk, and lacked anything besides an outwards likeness and name to match it to the actual character. Because you completed your work and the coloring was interesting along with the style, I gave you higher marks in those category, but your Entertainment took a major hit because it was just an incredibly difficult and confusing read. The whole V style of talking is great... but it can get over done. Again, kudos for finishing even though you had school issues, and for coloring. But work on your anatomy and writing a bit more next time.

hello, all i can say is \"Blue Line Pro Book\" because that\'s the only thing i could clearly see after a few of phil\'s pages, but don\'t worry, shit happens, at least you posted a fighter, cause I haven\'t had the time to get him finished. so i give you balls for at least posting something, and my bro would like to say and I quote \"HALF ASSED\"!!! -end quote.
the other guy, just glad you colored it.

@ Phil: Artwise I won\'t get on your case cos I know from your previous works that you have decent skillz. I know just as well as you how things just get in the way of finishing off your comics.
I\'m glad you kept the dialogue going towards the end so I had a basic grasp of what you were trying to put through. I thought the story was pretty cool and the way you depicted koufuyo was well done.

@ Kou: I enjoyed the kaleidoscope of colors and pop art in your comic. Also his unique personality was some thing refreshing to look at :) . I wasn\'t too sure exactly what was happening plotwise in your comic though, so more clarity in your future comics could be a handy resolution

Overall both were an interesting read, but it\'s gonna be hard for me to vote on this :/

What happens happens, and it\'s a shame that both you guys had trouble finishing up--although I hold it against neither of you personally.
Phill, your missing inks make the story literally a bit patchy, but you were at least able to send something, aye? Entertaining all the same.
Koufuyo, I\'ll admit the one thing that really got to me was the alliteration. A noble attempt, and you do pull it off well enough...at first. After a little bit, I was beginning to think V was pulling the gig off better. It felt a little more like a novelty than a cohesive part of the character.

Having said that, each side\'s story was definitely worth the reads, and I hope to see you two show down again when you\'re at your respective primes.

oh my

Phil, I know you had the issue with your health and going to the hospital and whatnots, so of course that\'d be why it\'s unfinished, I liked what was there though! props on writing kou\'s crazy dialog too haha. a couple anatomy issues with things looking a little awkward here and there, I think you\'re getting better with heads/faces, especially with humans, so keep going!

Kou, I had trouble following yours kinda, story-wise. another read through and I think I kinda got it.. I think. um as far as art goes, your colouring needs a bit of work, but I\'m the wrong person to help with that haha. I think it would be cool to have your linework stand out more! and I know your style is loopy and crazy, but there are anatomy issues. also a lot of bare backgrounds.

that was an interesting read though you two, keep at it!

Indeed I have failed everyone as well, I had many school projects.............And not enough time to make an epic.....I apologize everyone, for the subpar story and back backgrounds...

As far as I know Mr Phill\'s in hosiptal at the moment as he has a seizure so I wish him the best and I thought it\'lld be fair for everyone to know this, so if the guy default you lot know there is acterly a decent reason for it.
