Endjol-aw man I was really looking forward to this. I know you can do better than this! One thing I\'ve noticed throughout most of your battles is you tend to rush them. Slow down and spend more time on them. The cuteness will only take you so far

SQUIDMAN-damn, very nice entry dude! This is far better than your intros so I\'m very impressed!  I do think for this you could have made the characters a little darker to keep them from blending into the background so much. There\'s just not much difference in tones between the foreground and background which can make it confusing. Other than that the battle was very solid, I hope you can maintain this kind of quality in all your battles!

I\'d say that you have a clean win here, but I guess it\'s not about this. I\'m really suppriesed and glad to see such good first entry Thones looks amazing, and I don\'t see too many flows with art since the expresivness of lines hides most of possible errors from me XD
Storywise I had much laugh since (it\'s pretty long story too) - starting from part when this actor is already bitten to blood and director wants more, and Ayako with that arm looks pretty cute XD I like the way Ben was at graveyard, but it annoyed me the way she acted like a brat to take her revange, althoug she gave some strong kick the winner was Fluffbucket (clapping for him winning was a good conclussion) XD

yes, I\'ve been told by others that I need more black... I\'m still pretty new with a brush, so that makes it a little more difficult for me (and is why some of the lines are too light).. but it is something I\'m working on.
Z, I don\'t understand why you think the lines are \"TOO flowy\".. could you explain?

Endjoi: I\'d really like something finished on your end, but it\'s okay, since you\'re at least fighting again! I loved the way you did Ben, very characteristic.

Squidd: Awesome stuff! Both in humor, plot and art. I feel that the lines are a bit too flowy, but that might be the style or tool. Are you using a brush? Also, I\'d love some black lines instead of gray, but gray is fine! In other hand, while it\'s actually cool, in some panels, it almost blend with the tones, including both character and background alike.

also, much apologies for the rushed entry, I thought I had another day and discovered an hour before time was up that that was not the case....  thanks for all the feedback!  I\'m still feeling a little rusty, and your comments help tons.

Goddammit Squidman Ben makes me wet. I love those fucking lines  the poses and anatomy .Style is really whimsical. And the humor is very native to your protagonist. This is a fully fleshed out work and I cannot wait to challenge you in the ring. One minor complaint is that your greys are grey try stretching out the tonal range a tad so that there be some blacks on your pages. But damn if i\'m not gonna be scared shitless when I challenge you.

Endjoi, glad to see you back, your run on humour is working here and I enjoyed seeing the quip of Ayako\'s life, characterisation is fine too. However i cant really say much for the art since it seems rushed. line variation here is probably your problem as well as general layout. Though its still an interesting read.

OMG I love it Endjoi XD Especially the \"eat your soul\" panel--I liked your brush-work there. I was pretty much laughing all the way through.

Phil--What I wanted to show was Ayako getting self-important because she\'d become rich and famous, so that was kind of like her saying \"This is MY graveyard now and I want YOU out.\"

Squidman: A great first entry on void, the art was great as previously mentioned and I loved how you toned this as well, the story was just a bit strange for me, like when Ayako told Ben to leave the graveyard because she was bothering her. I\'m not sure if she would of been upset from defiling the graves either. I\'m not sure, that just seemed way out of character for me. But other than that I was really impressed with this, I look forward to your next entry!

endjoi: i can only assume you banged this out in a couple of days. which is fine, but this entry was pretty weak. the art, the dialogue, the story in total was really flat. no build up, no climax y\'know? one thing i can suggest, if you just want to hammer out a comic, draw on super small pages. like half of a 6x9 or something. that way your sketchy inks will condense into some nice solid lines, and you might improve a little more on your composition. better luck next time.

squid: thoroughly enjoyable. this flowed perfectly, and your tones are GREAT. the kick on page 9 is by the far the best panel in that comic. no real clear winner, but a solid conclusion. an all round great job. keep it up.
