Corny:  11 reads later, and I STILL have a goofy grin on my face when I\'m reading yours.  This is just adorable.  You might want to watch how you draw/color your backgrounds, that \"yoink!\" gets lost in the dark-gray building or whatever it is.  Hugo\'s side had a bit more meat, but he went above and beyond - yours is a cute, funny little story, and I think you can see how it feels FAR more complete and satisfying than your last battle that was twice as many pages.  

Powerz:  A sweet story with a chill at the end.  I love it.  The artwork was gorgeous.  But please, watch how your blacks run into each other!  It does get kind of hard to read in places.  For example, on that first page, you just let the black of the \"game over\" screen flow into the border of the adjacent panel without a white halo or anything to tell the eye, \"hey, panel one ends HERE and panel two begins THERE.\"  None of it was a deal-breaker, though; the only part I\'m still confused at was where something went CLANK at the end.  

Awesome job you guys, especially for a one-week battle.  You should both be really proud!    

I didn\'t have any problem understanding yours either Powerz, hmm. i really enjoyed it, you should battle more often! there are a few rushed/unpolished looking parts, probably due to the one week deadline. also your use of black and white is pretty swell, props on that.

Corny, really short but kinda cute. haha mini Levi cameo! colours were nice, maybe more backgrounds. good job though you two!

-Plot summery
Sammy and Tammy meet Hugo, mistaken identity causes them to beat him up. Then Hugo says that he\'s not really this person and them 3 join a crime fighting team addressing petty crimes. Tammy hears a scream and they go to investigate. Hugo gets there first and looks at whats going on to see 2 men are about too rape a women. Sammy and Tammy arrive and Hugo realises there too young to be seeing the real side of crime in void and lies to get them away by saying he is infact the person they first thought he was, which causes Tammy to whack him on the head. So after Tammy and Sammy leave Hugo, Hugo gets up and kills the 2 rapists.

If someone wants to write out in the comment box what was said in the battle just ask.

Corny - Short, sweet, and straight to the funny and ass kicking.  Good show.

Powerz - I liked the art, and it had a good premise.  Although, somewhere around Page 6 or 7, I couldn\'t understand what was going on.  A plot summary would be fantastic.  Or maybe, I\'m just dumb, I don\'t know, I just lost all understanding of the plot around those last pages.

powerz: I gotta agree with Enef, I think this is the best of your comics I\'ve read. I really like the flow of the story and didn\'t have trouble following it. The only thing that threw me off a bit was some of the more \"rushed\" parts, like that anvil-over the head or the \"levels\" panels.

Corny: also very good, and it\'s nice to see someone do a good 3-pager without the 3rd page having a two paragraph \"this is why I didn\'t finish the whole fight, but it was gunna be awesome\" panel. One thing I wasn\'t a bit fan of were backgrounds. I don\'t like photo-bgs, and I don\'t like gradients (or messy soft-brushes, whatver ya used). Id would have liked sharper, more defined BGs.

Powerz: I had no problems telling things apart.  If anything, people might be thinking this because a few panels were small and crowded with a lot of stuff.  I thought the line art was good, and for the most part not sloppy.

Corny: Not much happened, but I still enjoyed it.  You\'re starting to get pretty good.  So, just keep it up and stuffs.

er...yeah sorry. my hand writing is terrible.

But yes. some panels are infact very sloopy. first time doing a tradional media battle so yeah that half explains it, but it\'s mostly because i had to rush it to finish. I screwed up by giving myself to much work so thats why the quality in someplaces is lacking.

Corny: Nice, short cute comic. Simple and enjoyable. The backgrounds were a little \"blah\" in my opinion, though. Good work none-the-less.

Powerz: Nice story, and nice inks. problem was, it was hard differentiating between things in a lot of your panels. they all kinda mixed together. And some words were hard to read. But no matter, great art, great story. And this just makes me want to battle you even more now.

I have to disagree. Powerz inks were AWESOME :\'0.

Powerz: ven though I think this, I found that some of them were indeed sloppy, and even if it\'s \"allowed\" for comic purposes in some panels, some of them really didn\'t pay respect to some gorgeous panels you have here. Other than that, I really loved how you changed from a light heart story to something creepy and within fluence. That was good, really. I give it to you.

Corny: Yours was also very good, artwise and story-wise, but even if a \"long-story is not necessarily a good story\", your both were nice, but since Powerz was longer, that give points to him. I loved the panel with Hugo and the lamen shot ~~

I gotta say, even though Corny had a much shorter comic, I had to give the higher marks to you. Your art was better looking and your story was short but made sense and was funny.

Powerz, your art was sloppy and I had a REALLY hard time following exactly what was going on.

I\'m shocked that Corny is losing this battle by so much. It HAS to be the 3 pages to 9. That\'s the only thing I can possibly see.

Powerz, this is easily my favourite battle from you, possibly some of my favourite art from you so far, great work and entertaining to the last.

Corny, great work, you\'ve got a cute sense of humor and an adorable sense of art, past the anatomy issues and stuff like that.

I tried all trads (minus digitaly adding the massive blocks of black) and i have to say is that i\'m not that good.

Also 1 week battles.....never again. well not atleast until i get my own house so i can get some peace and quiet to work on my battle.
