nice; a little disjointed and confusing in parts, especially on Carstein\'s end, but I liked them both overall
also, Chia keep up the great work; your page layouts may be somewhat minimalistic, but the art has been impressive so far

nyways, i liked you both on different aspects wich i will type in a long ass comment after re-reading this. I waited for it for four weeks, i say it was pretty fukkin worth it.

chia - i gotta agree with angie on the text. black text would really make it look better i think. good job keeping up with the backgrounds. though, on page two they kinda.....dissapear for the most part. (i don\'t really know any solution for that, because backgrounds with action scenes isn\'t relaly my strong point either)  ;-;
when they get the carstein\'s office, the backgrounds kinda die there too. i know his office is boring, but you coulda done something to spice it up a bit more.
other than that, i really enjoyed your battle. love the inks, and the action scenes really amazed me. how you kept her body proportions the same when she was fighting....was really a treat  :3   and i can\'t wait to ajay vs foo....   <3333

carstein - i was gunna give my votes to you at first....but....when the action started, the comic lost a lot. there was way too much empty space for my taste. i think even just a few quick shades in the background could have brought it to life a lot more. i DO think this was an imporvement from your first battle though, so everything is good. let\'s see something even better in your next fight!  >;3
oh....and page 3, panel 5.....i think that is just way too sexy. best panel in the entire comic.

Chiashia-I\'m still torn on how I feel about those transparent word bubbles, I think compositionally the words would have more bite to them if they were black. I like that you took the time to have more backgrounds in this match but you also missed out on some great opportunities for backgrounds or speedlines in certain panels. When Ajay kicks the zombie on page 2 I felt that would have had more impact with some speedlines, it looks like they\'re just floating in the air. Be careful with the disappearing backgrounds, it\'s a bit harder to do an implied background in black and white but maybe filling the panel in with black could have helped make certain panels not look so empty since they take place at night.

Or perhaps doing actual shading with the inking like in the noir art jam could have given the battle a darker atmosphere and things wouldn\'t have seemed so empty. You handled the pacing and panel lay out very well, I was impressed with how well the fight scenes flowed. Keep at it, I\'m dying to see your next battle.

Carstein-If you have Photoshop, you would really benefit from toying with the levels feature, it will bring out the white of the paper and make those blacks actually black. Light scans like that always turn me off. I feel like I\'m telling everyone they need new fonts lately so I\'ll just do my obligatory http://www.blambot.com plug so you can get yourself some new easier to read fonts. I want to see you take more chances with your camera angles and practice drawing women, Ajay was looking kind of weird in most of the panels. Your action flowed nicely, just be very careful with keeping the proportions consistant at all times.

Chia- Nice! The inks are so crisp and tender at the same time...yummy! Although, I think
          blood or something needs to be on Ajay during/after the zombie fight. i mean, she did
          beat up around 20 or so zombies...yet, she looks so fresh and so clean?
          The story is somewhat similar to Rtv\'s...not the same. Just similar. But, I really enjoyed
           this battle.

Carstein- Your art was not as good as your first battle, bro. But the panelling has definately  improved! So, well done! I liked the first two pages the best...but I still don\'t get what was the purpose of the two kids in there.

All in all, I gave Chia a higher vote. It was more clear and has more of a storyline.

Ah, man.... Managed to submit 2 minutes before due but only had time for inks and text.... DIdn\'t even get to to add the blood even, so a lot of the pages look super bare. The next time I get off track, you guys should slap meh silly. ;_;

Well I\'m all uploaded,but it\'s still pretty stiff, I\'ll get it out eventually. I didn\'t get to colour the last two pages, I bit off a little more than I could chew... again. Oh well at least I can promise to keep getting better, can\'t wait to see yours Chia, enjoy and happy Thanksgiving everyone.
