What\'s with the bambi comments? Sheesh!

Pong: This to me has got to be your best fight yet man! As always the art is always fresh and creative... but all the whites to me kinda leaves a bit of empty space in your fight, if you could add some watercolors to those whites that would make this fight look awesome! But so far you\'ve pretty much got the vote from me storywise, this was very well thought out and I did enjoy the galliger referances very much, so far this is looking great!

Dawgmastas: Artwise, I rank you even with pong, I did like the clean look of the comic overall, but maybe you could of added some more shading to the mix? Oh well, anywho... I\'m kinda with wei on this... tribute or not, it does feel kinda cheap in a way (I didn\'t even see the show that often either) but I\'ll give you points for making me want to see this show again somehow.

You both did a good job, but the red rectangle is slowly becoming a force to be reconed with! Keep it up or something?

I enjoyed em both, GVSR always brings a good read even if its hard to follow sometimes.  Plus, you\'re always good for at least one cable car drawing, I\'ve come to expect them.  Good ol Gallagher.

J-pop, I\'ve never seen anything by Kids in the Hall so I couldn\'t relate much to your comic but I think it was pulled off well.  I agree with bumping up the quality but as you said you had hurricane troubles.  I think this was well done.

I should probably clarify that last paragraph. We have so many sources of entertainment here, from all different walks of life, hitting us at every angle. When we endeavor to make our own entertainment, it tends to reach out to those like us. It will inevitably hit its target, but also shower others searching for entertainment in misunderstood shrapnel.

Comics like these are brilliant in and of themselves, but they need the right audience to reach their full designed potential. You have the ability to become the right audience with some self-application. Or not. But I like to endorse having respect for someone else\'s time, and when I look at these comics, I see three weeks of \"I hope this is gonna be successful\". It hurts to have three weeks shot down with a paragraph that takes five minutes to write.

Both comics were coherent and well-played given the resources available to them. Both tap slightly different audiences. I love Pong\'s pen and ink and Gallagher watermelon stylings and J-Pop\'s wacky tribute. That fisheye lens at the end of Pong\'s comic was great.

In society becoming more and more specialized, comics from diverse people deserve an active read as apposed to a passive read. It\'s the only way to get the most out of them. It is a conundrum, what with endless entertainment and media (both mass and alternative) being number one in North America where most of us are based, while at the same time we are appealing to specialized audiences on a world stage. The viewer must take this into account when viewing these specifically targeted comics.

Oh. (ah?)  Lorne Micheals...
I actually thought this was one of the most coherent comics I\'ve draw so far, with the exception of the top of page four (which I tried to remedy with the text \"J-Pop snaps\" but that didn\'t quite seem to work for me anyway).  Maybe people just aren\'t familiar with enough with Gallagher\'s \"sledge-o-matic\" shtick?  It\'s been like over two decades since then, so maybe that didn\'t make sense?

Pong - Dude..seriously...I didn\'t get it.  I was really impressed with how you coloured and drew it, that was fun, but the comic itself got tired really quickly for me.  Just not my sense of humour I guess!  ^^

J - okay, YOURS I found funny, but I\'m a huge Kids in the Hall fan.  I\'m not really impressed by the art though man.  I do see some improvement, but like NR said, you need to knock it up a notch!!

I ran out of time.  I had to rush 4 pages the last night.  Having no power for a week really hurt me, especially quality-wise, but daaamn, stealing?  It was a tribute.  I see what you mean about overplaying it wei.  Looking back I probably should\'a taken the bulk of the skits out.  No sleep gives you bad judgement.

and DAMN PONG, that\'s seriously gotta be one of the best comics I\'ve seen here in a good 6 months or so.  Maybe I SHOULD take J-pop in that direction.

GVSR - As stand alone art, your work is incredible, energetic and expressive. This is the kind of thing you see populating the walls in underground art galleries and smoke filled bar lounges. The 3-D touch was impressive.

As a comic, I found it hard to follow. Nothing really seemed to flow sequentially, not even the story. I\'ve reread it a few times and I still don\'t understand what was going on.

J-Pop - Your work lacks style. There is nothing distinctive about the way you draw and color. To me, it seems like you just want to get the story down, rather than try to do anything interesting visually, with it. Lets see some more dynamic angles, and coloring that\'s more focused. If you\'re going to cell shade, do it. If you\'re going to go the other way, use more colors. Don\'t just hover half way in between. Push yourself.

The comic as a whole was easier to follow than GVSR\'s, but I didn\'t think it was entertaining.

It\'s going to be tough voting on this one.

GSVR: As always I have scored you high on Creativity and was happy to see an improvement in your art as well.

JPop: So which is it?....JPop\'s material is so weak that in order to get applause he needs to use other people\'s material or that your writing is so weak you have to use pages upon pages of Kids in the Hall skits...you really overplayed the whole idea....you lost MAJOR points with me for that

uploaded.  Sorry for the laughably bad quality of the final page - but I guess it\'s better than no conclusion at all!  Now to see if I can I can get to school before my test is over...

Sweeet.  I was only powerless for close to 5 days.  I probably lost a weeks worth of work, but I just gotta knock this out hardcore.

Man, whenever I have a battle, a hurricane comes and knocks all the power out.

This one was fucking crazy too.  Like every window on the south side of my house shattered and blew all over the place.

My power might be out a while, but I\'ll still get this in fo\' sho.  I might not have the time to color it, though, depending on how long.

MAN FUCK HURRICANES.

I think this deserves better than hype.  It\'s time for THREATS - if you don\'t READ THIS COMIC you will get HERPES of the genital order.
Also, I\'m dedicating my comic Gallagher.
