In the essence of all things, Tag is not who he appears to be at first.
\"Ya ain\'t from around here, are ya?\" you might ask, if the VOID were located in the southern United States. Like many fighters, Tag isn\'t from VOID City.
If on were to look for him, he would follow the echoes of his music--simple melodies on some kind of a guitar. Yes, there are a small handful of places around the city that actually do have trees growing. Those few and far between places is where Tag almost always is. If he\'s not to be found in the city, he may be in the outskirts on his outdated motorcycle. He may be lounging around on the rooftops of the city.
Nobody has ever seen Tag go about casually. Then again, nobody would really want to, seeing as how completely unpredictable he is. He\'s very expressionless. He doesn\'t flinch when threatened, when others are hurt, or even when he\'s wounded.
Tag seeks out his own battles. What sway and influence over them he has, nobody really knows, but he claims all the time that the confrontation was by his will. He may very well mean it, too. Tag always seems to have one foot out of reality at all times, performing impossible extentions of his own will without looking flashy in any form. He may walk on water, pass through walls, extend the force of his attacks exponentially, and if the case may be, he might be able to fly. The limits of what he can do in or out of battle is unknown.
All of that is up to Tag. Despite his abilities to alter his own reality to suit his needs, he never opts to take the easy way out of any battle. He seeks for himself to find an underhanded method to defeat an unknowing opponent, or possibly to test the power of a knowing opponent.
He has three tools at his disposal: His motorcycle, his guitar, and his sword. The motorcycle is a fossil of a vehicle, but it never breaks down and Tag is never seen to have stopped for fuel. Tag rides it all the time across the outskirts. His guitar appears to be made out of mahogany or similar wood, and plays the most enchanting music that most people would have the priviledge to hear. His sword is two feet long at most and does not appear to be in the best of shape, but it\'s as unbreakable as the rest of his tools and as sharp as he needs it to be.
Tag suffers defeat like anyone else, but he makes it clear that it\'s his own will to be defeated. Nobody\'s sure he can die. And if he did, they\'re almost certain he\'d return someday.
Would that be a bad thing? Nobody\'s sure about that, either.
