Maple(the tall one) and Lily(the short one) are best buds going on adventures big and small.

Maple was exiled from her home due to her size. Using her inhuman strength, she got by with bounties and monster hunting. She didn't make many friend because people feared her, nicknaming her "The Bear".

Lily is the daughter of a secret legendary adventurer. Wanting to earn her fame and fortune without the help of her already established father, she sets out on her own.

One day, Maple and Lily accidentally bump into each other in a deadly dungeon. Teaming up, they beat the monster Maple needed to collect, and Lily got the rare treasure she was seeking. Lily doesn't fear "the Bear", instead calling her "Maple Bear". They walked out of the dungeon and have been inseparable ever since.
