BACKGROUND:
Lathos is the child of an Angel and Demon. He is a dissonant being with a soul comprised of two antithetical elements, and thus it is at constant conflict with itself. As a result of this, Lathos' physical health is incredibly poor, constantly in pain and cursed with sickness.

He was seen as an abomination by his angelic mother, and was constantly mistreated and harmed, leaving him with multiple lasting scars. The worst of these scars he can still feel, as his damaged body could not properly heal the more grievous injuries.

In his adulthood, Lathos has grown into an incredibly hateful and reclusive individual, filled with paranoia and general misanthropic traits. He spends his time doing shady dealings. He primarily kidnaps and experiments on magical beings in hopes to find any way to stabilize his soul and alleviate his perpetual pain before his physical body fails him.

He greatly fears death, as he does not know what will happen to his dissonant soul should it not be anchored to a physical form. He will always put his own well being above that of others.
