personality: Some people grew up in single child households and it shows. Her parents were each successful though eccentric and flamboyant intellectuals: her personality is subdued in comparison. She is polite, but her academic studies (and urge for pedantics) have allowed her social skills to lapse and she lacks attention for pop culture: but if it's a book, she can knock it out in a weekend and get back to you. She likes the peace of the countryside and hopes to have a cottage in the mountains one day; and every spring the fields will dot with blooms as the wind brushes over in waves. She imagines someone might be there beside her.
She is tired of her bookish brand and wants to prove to herself that she can be sporty and adventurous. She also needs an internship for her biology degree, but didn’t get her bachelor’s before the semester’s zoology program started. The reports of her being thawed from a frozen stint in an iceberg while trying to climb mt. Everest in the 1920s have been greatly exaggerated. She has to try very hard not to wear the same pants to work as some of her older NDA colleagues.
Abilities: Reading really dry, uninteresting prose OR non-fiction and still gleaning the information from it. She has a driver's license and a 1964 Volkswagen beetle, never gets distracted on the road, with a flawless and clean record. In fact, she has no priors at all. She's never even been detained by the police, not even while mistakenly walking through a protest on campus. Delinquents hate her.
