A priest who lived all his life in Void for 31 years, even though he looks quite young. Born to a religious cul--uh, denomination of Christianity who call themselves the Alta Clerensis, Ilex fully devotes his life to spreading his faith in God and culling evil.
Most of the time, Ilex appears to be carefree and jovial, a rather eccentric man despite his intense beliefs. He is a big fan of puns and is generally says everything with a smile on his face. Against something considered evil, of course, he switches to the instant kill approach and attacks without warning, with an almost sadistic demeanor. Edgy.
Despite his thin frame, Ilex is pretty athletic; while he isn't very strong, he excels in speed and flexibility, using his fast reflexes to his advantage. When facing a being that he deems necessary to kill, Ilex can become a bit reckless, diving headfirst into battle and refusing to stop unless he is immobilized, loses his opponent, or if he's going to be late for mass. If against an opponent too fast for him, he's more than willing to take a hit just to get a chance to get his own in.
That being said, dude is still a human with human capabilities. He needs to breathe, eat, and sleep to survive, and he most definitely needs to try to keep as much blood as possible in his little flesh prison if he doesn't wanna commit die.
With a city like Void, its hard to expect donations or funding for his church, so Ilex is constantly struggling to even keep himself fed.
