The short version: She’s a dog. Just an average dog, who can’t speak and has only normal dog abilities. She appears to be lost. Does she have an owner? Did she ever have an owner? It’s a mystery--she can’t exactly tell the answer, either. She’s friendly enough, seems to love kids and hate the heat. Beyond that, though… I mean, what more do you want? She’s a good good girl.

The long version:
There are some things a dog will always remember. Their human, for one. Winter days spent frolicking in the snow in the backyard of a suburban house. Summer nights spent camping with her people out in the wilderness. Car rides, games, and so much love. Walks around the suburb--she remembers there was a city they went to sometimes, but she doesn’t know what city. She remembers her Person was a boy. And she remembers waking up one morning to find the house… empty.

But she can’t remember what her Boy called her. She can’t remember his face. Worse, she can’t remember his scent. How is a dog supposed to find something if she doesn’t have a scent? The house is barren, scentless save for her own smell.

She can’t remember what happened to her pack. Something is wrong, but she doesn’t know what. But that’s okay, because she’s a dog, and everything will work out in the end.

And hey, maybe she'll meet some new friends along the way.
