i liked the style iri used, but the panels were a bit difficult to folow and they didnt quite flow, but it was good for the most part

Nice fights from both of you, but I have to go with Iri just on how much I like the style, although as said before, the panel design was a tad confusing, but I could still follow it quite well. SCRIBBLY LINES YEAH!

Fu - Great effort on the colours, and that much figure drawing must've killed you. It was a bit boring though, not too much creativity in the plot. I seriously laughed my ass off at the "THAT'S MAH PURSE! I DON'T KNOW YOU!!" Considering I've been shouting at my roomy for the past two weeks, you did a job on that one. ;p
Iri - you fuckin' KILLED this with the black and whites. I like your style, *alot* Crit from me was on the sequential stuff. IT was confusing as fuck as to what was going on - but you'll get better at that, I'm sure of it. You won my vote through the effort and awesome black and whites, which I'm a big fan of.

haha I was trying a new panel designs (like unrational composition and stuff) but it may not work. So yeah, we'll see what happens in the future. I like b/w more too than color.

and yes. I know the storyline is lacking (to all of you) but I have a serious case of writers block that I just cant crack with a chizel. T_T Jingu, you have this in the bag, hon ^^ I can tell already.
I personally like Jingu's better from a "flow" asthetic-- even if it looks a little confusing here and there and could probably use a little bit of a touchup in that department (even a pinch more of the colors that my skills are still lackluster in x_x).
I absolutely dig your coloring job, Fushigi, though I do see major one technical error-- from the angle of her fist in the third page and the blur that looks like it's following it, it looks like Fushigi just coldcocked Iri across the face and all. If that's the case, her head should be turning right instead of left. x_x/

Jingui I loved this.... some of the panels were messy and confusing, but it was stylish, saucy and far out! Great motion in your panels. Fast paced and action packed. Clear you panels a bit, so they're easier to follow.... sometimes the lines muddle up. Great job
Fushigi - Not to be mean, but your work is sort of like a luniara-lite. You need to work more on your backgrounds. Looks like you spend most of your time drawing faces. Which is understandable. Thats what most people start out at, but in order to develop you need to work on backgrounds more. The situation is a typical barfight.... and your entertainment is inside jokes between lune and a couple of other people. That cut you down in the creativity/entertainment level....
one more thing! maybe spend more time developing your work in black and white before jumping into color. Color is an entirely different world... make sure you have your ground work solid first

for one, barely anyone has been voting lately, and this is typically the only fight posted so more votes are bound to pop up. EVEN IF, they are a "fanbase" from DA. It wouldn't matter anyhow as long as the votes are fair. You can say the samething to half the other users on this site.

This is going to be one tough vote because it's entertainment VS quality. I feel Jin is good in terms of fluidness of line and motion compared to Fushigi which prefers anime gags and sort of 'keyframe' motions to move the fight along.
Jin does a great job in the actual movement and action of her piece but is missing that finished quality unlike Fushigi's. If Jin would have follow throughed and perhaps cleanly inked and colored all her art work, things won't be so hazy because I find some bits of her storytelling a bit unclear in terms of movement. I personally find Jin's more entertaining even it if it's rather plot thin.
Fushigi on the other hand has quite a spiffy look in terms of quality, she definitely likes coloring her art work and her work has a more finished and professional look to it compared to Jin's. However, in terms of action and pacing is a little thin and somehow I don't find it an exciting read. It's simply a girl who got drunk and took her revenge on someone else simply cause she stole something. I supposed I've sorta passed the point of anime gags and I look to something more serious in nature but that's just me.
It's funny because it shows both the strength and weaknesses of both artist. I think they're both brilliant in their own seperate strengths but I hope in comparing to other artists, you'll know where you guys stand and hopefullly improve in terms of your creativity.

Wow...Jingui...just. -jaw drop0 I love your style with Iri. Its deffinatly different. And I liked seeing J.J too at the end in that lats panel. Made me chuckle.
Fushigi, I liked your comic cause it was completely colored. I think it would be cool if you added those neon limelights swirlin' around the place in the colors. It'd give everyone a colorful glow. And that would'a been cool. I liked the cameos too. :D That made me use my brain to see who was wear you know.
I didn't vote but I'd have to say Iri would get my vote.
