Don't be disheartened, you've got all the time in the world to make more comics in more battles. You could even finish the pages for this comic in a separate Beyond Battle after the round is over, if you felt strongly about what you had planned. Hope to see more from you in the future
I really enjoyed the continuation of this being a video game series, it's so much fun and this is one of the many comics I was really looking forward to! Very clever, looking forward to reading more of your works!!
The texture brushes you used are gorgeous; that moon looks so lifelike. These two look battle-ready! Love the setup, but with nothing after, I can't help but think this one feels a bit incomplete. Then again, you gotta make the most of the time you have on a two-week deadline.
I love that you styled your entries like videogame matchups. This was hilarious and lovely to see that even if it was short, there was a back and forth with a silly upgrade moment like any Kaiju flick/story would most likely have. BEEP SPRAY!!! Phenomenal job, Red!
I like how this feels like a teaser for an even bigger confrontation! The backgrounds are nicely done and the grayscale is complimentary to the thicker parts of the outlines! Somadis is 1-to-1 in your style, LOVE what you accomplished with the time you had!
I forgot to mention, I just absolutely love how well you can switch styles from simple to detailed. Everything looks so satisfying and is very nice on the eyes
