Thank you all for the comments!! I'm glad my little bits of humor paid off hehe. @Pizza aaaaah I'm so glad you picked up on that cartoon vibe, that's exactly what I was gunning for! Just some silly toony fun, lol. I do agree that Dog didn't get to shine as much--originally I had other plans that would've given her more spotlight, but it wasn't quite as funny as this.

It's great to see A dog again, I'm a dog lover (over cats any day) so I was a sucker for this since it was announced and it did not disappoint, good job Batty, I know you were racing to the finish (much like the characters in this comic) to get this story made and wished to have finished coloring this tale, but in the end I think it works fine as it, in my humble opinion.

I enjoyed you entry my dude, you sure have come a long way from that first comic you made a few years back, the only thing I would add is perhaps get someone to proof read the comic as there were a bit of typos (and I should know, my dyslexic ass has a bit of typos in my own comics) we're not perfect and we make mistakes, its all about learning from them and going forward, and I look forward to see more comics from you.

This was a super fun read and the paneling is well done. I love the Frisbee throw joke as that was a good usage of your opponent's character of them being. . . a dog. XD But yeah I do hope to see more of Captain Lunch Box and the bunch in the near future

I would like to say that I did really enjoy reading this one, The colors are solid and the ending was quite humorous! Also the event your choose is quite an interesting Winter Games event I do rather enjoy watching so that is also a plus from me! Great Job and I hope to see more!

I liked how this felt like the plot to a short for a cartoon you really captured what I feel like these three would be like if they had their own comic book. Oddly enough your own character kind of felt like a side character because of it. I hope you let A Dog shine more if you make it on to round 2!

Ayy nice to see a N0. 66 cameo! I'll admit I laughed a little too hard at page 6. Pretty solid comic. I liked seeing the animals talk to each other and the interactions between Cat and Dog were entertaining. Its too bad you weren't able to color the backgrounds on time but it didn't take away too much from the comic for me.

I LOVED THIS! I love how much every character's personality shines through and the ways they play off of each other. "Did we win?" Lmaoooo 🩷

This was really cute! Extremely wholesome. I think the comic relied a little too much on dialogue to communicate the story, and if you want to practice storytelling via visuals rather than words, I recommend making some silent comics in the future. It's hard to communicate everything without dialogue so use your best judgement on when to practice that (probably not in a battle but then again that's how I practice everything lol). But again, this was a really cute and wholesome comic and I'd love to see more!

I love this so much XDD The Cat bribing his way into the Olympics is fantastic, and I loved the contrast between this semi-grumpy cat genuinely trying to win and a dog being a (seemingly?) clueless ball of sunshine just here to have fun. The sub-plot of Mustard and Lunchbox watching the Cat was also super funny!! tho I will say I spent way too long trying to figure out if there was a hidden message behind the bolded letters in the robot's speech bubbles, lol. I also love the fact that you had a dog carry the Olympic torch, lmaoooo. I was considering doing the same thing for mine but ended up cutting that bit out, so it makes me super happy that it showed up in your side! :D honestly I couldn't stop smiling throughout the whole thing, it was just a joy to see a dog doing Olympic Shenanigans hehe. also 👀 Mustard's first name has been revealed! and what a fantastic name lmaooooo
