A lot was said without having to say a lot! This genuinely puts a smile on my face :)

This brought back memories of my own childhood and going to the library to get a bunch of European comics (since those were French) like Asterix and Tin Tin. Shame what people are trying to do with literature.

There's a couple of things that I hadn't noticed at first read like but on second read it was much better! The whole thing had a vibe of what a child's imagination feels like. Hard to put into words but like how the world just seems magical as a kid where it's like "why wouldn't mermaids exists?!". Great job!

Ah yes, a lesson that a large majority of teens will eventually learn. And as you get older, you start to understand why older folks always seem to give less and less of a fuck about what others think! I'm getting to that point already!

The backgrounds were stunning in this. It reminded me of old flash animations by Chluaid on Newgrounds (Brackey in Brackenwood I believe it was called...). I also liked how the story kept me guessing. It kept me going back and forth with my idea of what was going on. Keeping me on my toes. Really great job!

"Can we come back tomorrow?" Lovely ending and really strong piece. We have to keep fighting for the future generations!

like a ghost story but with yourself...really liked this. Encapsulated all these feelings of memories and doing what your childhood self cannot.

This was so good...what a sad ending. I really feels this encapsulates a lot of childhood memories. Love the sonic comic book haha.

Really fun read! I was a bit confused by all the different times shown in the first page because I was having trouble understanding just when he was like, getting up or sleeping. But I really enjoyed all the fun shenanigans the alligator got up to after that!

This was so friggin good! To the cool art style that reminded me of something that would have been shown on MTV in the 90s to the short but complete story. Gimme more!

Really cool style here, the story is esoteric but theres some stuff to chew on. I say it's a succesful experiment.

Well, now i'm gonna have to run to the grocery store. A touching tribute to your pops and his heritage. And hey, the hot soup's served on a hot day, that just means you gotta have an ice cold beverage to balance it out!

Is there anything as good as a pool? Even a baby can tell these things kick ass.

Fantastic work. It can be disheartening to live in America where for as much progress as we've made, it feels like we keep going backwards, like a climber who keeps loosing their footing. Books have been banned since time immemorial, perhaps(hopefully) its just that we can hear the noise more now, see waves of angry bigoted posts and protests on our feed. But i dunno, it doesnt make me feel so good inside. You are the vanguard- people may see libraries as antiquated but the battle is happening there, on campus and off, and the effects ripple out to everyone. So thank you. And of course, your art looks as delightful as ever.

Really cool little fable here, i like the frenetic and claustrophobic style of panelling here, makes it feel a lot more immersive to the experience of a child.

The wounds inflicted in adolescence affect one's entire life, sadly, but its great that you've been able to understand yourself a bit more.

Simple and effective, the first contact with the bizarre chaos of the real world. Love the high contrast colors, simultenously harkening back to the early nineties and also illustrating the vivid, garrish world that children see.

The part of me, that is the part of me that is not the part of me that regrets not being employed as a librarian, is glad that I am not being employed as a librarian. Because I would have to wrestle with the intense headache of all this censorship hysteria.

I do agree, a hearty meal like this is fit for the winter to a degree. But I'd still eat it during summer I'm ngl. Also I like cucumber but I hate zucchini, so would I like chayote?

I admit, I didn't really get it the first time I read it on my phone. But I found that it's because I was missing the bottom rows panels! *facepalm*. Second read was definitely better! I really liked the child-like coloring choice as it does bring you back to school years. I also liked the lack of dialogue and the solutions that you came up with to help communicate things using symbols. All in all, a nice little feel-good comic!

As I stated this already, alas my faithful Cintiq of nine years died around the time this started, and while it took some time to set up a new rig, it was like learning to walk all over again so forgive my artwork if it looks funky at certain pages, its a new learning curve until I feel my sweet spot again.
