User1: Now you know for sure that you don't like to make comics, albeit this was good in spite of the back stage agony you were experiencing. Congratulations. Electric: I don't have too much of a critique for you or anyone else but I do have something else to say to you. I want to see more of your stuff on this site. Or just in general. Mister X from Resident Evil 2 is looking at you. He is pointing. He is asking you to: "PLEASE DRAW" Snager: If gay erotica makes more of your anatomical skill shine. Well... You know what to do.... Or do you?????? On a more serious note involving the most serious subject there is: Keep pushing the envelope on the comedy chops. A strength is a strength is a strength.

Ramoonick and Squigy aka User1 - While I am a little sadden to know that this will be your last comic. We are honored to host your last comic here on our site. It was quite entertaining, Great Pacing, Excellent Lineart was good and the humor was spot on. I wish you luck on your future endeavors and I really hoped that you two had fun creating this masterpiece ElectricCleric and Fluffsamasprime - The Pacing was phenomenal and the colors were great. The balancing act between the 3 characters is pretty good and I am quite impressed that you managed to get a repeating animation on page 5 that fits the scene. I hope to see more of Judgement Day in the near future and I hope you learned some neat stuff from your mentor Snager and ArtsandGoodies - The Paneling to this one is quite unique and the interpretation is pretty neat. The backgrounds are solid and that ending through me for a loop. It shows that you had loads of fun with this one I hope to see more adventures of Sheriff Kurdis in the near future and I hope you learned some cool stuff from your mentor.

I forgot to comment. User1: Really entertaining comic, it was really fun to read through! I know you said you didn't have a lot of time to work on this, but you did great with what you had! I'm looking forward to more John comics! Electric: Loved the colors you used for this, and the gags were quite entertaining too! I agree the pages looked a little off? I'm not sure if it's your export settings or the canvas size you usually work with. Very nice entry though! Snager: Some of the poses you did were very nice looking, and I Iike the sepia tones you used for this. The spots of red you used were very striking, I liked the contrast. I think some of the image pasting looks odd (I didn't even recognize Pikachu at first), and I'm not really a fan of the NSFW aspect of this, especially with how forced their interaction appears. Very interesting comic though, it feels like you tried a different writing style for this.

User1- I really liked the energy and motion in this! The switch between very cartoony and very realistic is funny every time. I enjoyed how you brought these three characters all together. I hope 'never doing this again' is hyperbolic and we see more comics from you! Fluffs + Electric- This is fun, I like the club environment and the colors, the pages seem weirdly pixelated though? I love the void trope of throwing your opponents in the literal trash. I like when Judgement Day goes all cartoony, like not noticing Kurdis on the lid and the fun bit of animation on p5. Nice work! Snagger + Arts- The tree destruction page is really cool! And the replanting is fun, I like all of John's positive language throughout. You did a good job of keeping the romance silly but still poignant. Really cool comic!

My mentor and I greatly enjoyed reading both comics! All these comics gave such a interesting and unique feel to their comics, from their aesthetic to their storytelling! Eli: Hilarious comic with a solid short story. While short, it was really impressive with an animated panel and full color. Focusing on quality over quantity. Enjoyed how well you characterized both John and Kurtis, giving each humorous dialogue and creating a nice back-and-forth. The pages with progression panels were also great with humor and expression. The colors for Kurtis and Judge against a dark background hurt the clarity in some panels. They could blend into the background (ex: panels 3-4 pg.1). The light, mid, and dark tones would benefit with leveling. (ex: turn page Black and White to determine clarity). The use of harsh drop-shadow for foreground main characters did look strange and made the background look like a flat surface. Overall, great short and funny story! Amazing how much color and animation you stuffed into your comic! Snager: A nice "feel-good" comic that doesn't involve violence, compared to Eli and User1's comic. The images on Judge's helmet gave an abstract and beautiful display of emotion. Greatly enjoyed your utilization of John's phone for comic panels, acting as a form of narrator and aiding in comic composition. Some panels are lacking in color, and had inconsistent quality to them (ex: pg 4-5). Some panels have characters going off-model to the point of confusing expressions (ex: panel 2 pg.1) but I realize your artstyle is more expressionistic in nature, thus I understand it was done with purpose. Overall, it was a wonderful comic that showed the softer side of the characters, giving a more happy and positive story. We both enjoyed reading it.

These were a blast to read. User1: The humor in this had me! Along with the fat dumper you gave Kurdis when he crawled up on the table. I really look forward to seeing more comics from you! Eli: You were a real stand up guy. A real peach, a good pal, an hombe, a real human. That being said I take full credit for everything. Teaching you to walk as a baby, and using the power of bribery. I love how your comic came out. The gags were fun and the lil animation was such a nice touch. den oudda den would work with again! Snager: Classic snager style this was a ride. You always draw the characters really expressive with their emotions from body to face. Not sure how I feel about the nsfw at the end, but judge isn't my character so it what ever.

really fantastic work here everyone! User1, the way the scenario kept getting increasingly more ridiculous and ended with Kurdis being a wanted man absolutely killed me. I loved how utterly confident John was in his terrible ideas for making Kurdis popular again and seeing Judgement Day burst through the wall. Fluff and Electric, yours had me howling. I loved the deadbeat cam, the way John interfered with Judgements attempts to bounce Kurdis, Kurdis' horns poking out of the trashcan and judgement appearing not to notice him. Just great humor and dialogue all around haha. Snager my BABY and Arts! Fantastic work ~ I felt u were really pushing the poses and scenario and it was a fun read. I enjoyed the way John was used almost as a narrator, and of course the unexpected interaction with Judgement Day and Kurdis <3

first of all, to my lovely opponents and their mentors, thank you so much for this opportunity to get back into void. i'm excited to see the results of this one. your rounds were both great and made me laugh! guess i'll get to the comments part for each of ya. I'm not gonna make too much of an effort to "critique" because I'm not great at that... user1: I gotta say, I adore John. He was fun to write in my comic, and he was great in both your and Snager's rounds as well. Your expression work is extraordinary, and the detail on Judge's mechanical parts really caught me off guard. you really made him look badass. I love the awkward interaction between Kurdis and John as well, their conversations are great, and the joke about not speaking Italian made me crack up. The John in the sky at the end really got me as well, and all of Kurdis's expressions were top notch. snager: I really loved how goofy you made John. He's almost like a side character in an anime who tells everyone what's going on, and it really fits him. I really enjoy how you showed that Judge isn't always violent and dangerous, but sometimes he can help people too. I was a bit nervous when you came to me asking about how Judge and Kurdis would have a "relationship" but I feel like what you did was pretty good. The environments you constructed were also very entertaining as setpieces and really fit this sorta "post-post-apocalypse" type vibe I really like. Also Judge's faceplate choices were great, and the pikachu one caught me super off guard and made me laugh really hard. all in all, you guys did really great and I'm glad I got to go against you both, I can't wait to see who comes out on top for this!
