Pizza: You did 16 pages in a week? Madman. That's one page away from what is required of a mangaka in weekly magazines. Are you positive that you won't tired yourself out to the point of burnout? I hope not. There's still lots of cool shit for you to share with us.
Kubo: Diov Kubo is cool and this comic was a fun read. Good villain.
Pizza: I'm very much enjoying the zany antics of your comics. It's very fun to read but doesn't go overboard, it's just whacky enough to work. There are a lot of character relationships that you're establishing here that I would like more context for, but I assume that this aspect is going to be expanded upon later should you move onto the next round, or perhaps on your own time should you not.
Kubo: you get the usual praise for the usual reasons, so I'd like to move right on to a concern I have. I know you said you wanted to try an overarching story for this tournament, and you've created an interesting premise and have us invested in this story and how it plays out, which is good, but I just worry that your opponents characters may get forced into the background in favor of your own story. In this comic Burmeisters place in the narrative feels somewhat cookie cutter. Sure his characterization is accurate but I feel like he's somewhat replaceable here. Another character could be swapped in for him and the comic would be no different. Like I said though, this is a small concern on an otherwise excellent comic
Pizza: That's a lot of pages! And they're in color! It's impressive. I like how character focused this was and how each cameo felt natural. It really felt like they belonged and helped tell the story without it feeling like it was dragging. Also bald Kubo is very iconic, I love.
Kubo: How dare you leave us on a cliff hanger! The action in this was fantastic and I enjoyed how chill Burmy was with everything.
I love that both of you have your own self contained little 'verses with Diov characters haha.

Kubo I can't get over how u make the blister cryptid just "ok" at being told what to do by a magic sword. Really fantastic art and characterization. excited to see Kubo's TRUE FORM shenagins :>
