Gala Regalis, Round 2

*points ecstatically at Shen's round* Look! Look! That's my son! That's my son over there being killed! :DDD Aaaaaa I can't get over how handsome Bo looks in your style Shen! So clean and shiny! I had a feeling somebody was gonna challenge him to a bowling contest if he lived long enough and I wasn't disappointed what an awesome battle! Pretty clever of you to make Bo die very similar to the way he did the first time. Poor clumsy Bo, ya really gotta stop tripping on the cusp of victory. Bo died doing what he loved...twice...Regardless of who wins this fight someone's getting quite the headache lol. Thanks again for the fight, Shen! I didn't think my first go at you would be in a death match but I'm glad I got to fight your sugar powered twins nonetheless. I had more fun drawing and writing them than I thought I would :>

Pizza man- I enjoy your art style and I liked the setup here. Shen- Very unique storytelling. The inks looked good to me.

Shen: love this whimsical comic. Page 3’s layout is a lot of fun and the slapstick death is so comically tragic. No one wants to go out that way.

Pizza Man: great job with this comic. I like the twist at the end and the deaths were really nasty :) I always have problems with word bubbles in my own comics. What I’ve found that helps is sketching the bubbles while I thumbnail my comic and before I start inking. This way I never have to cover over art I want to show off. I enjoyed your portraits of Wendy and Sully. The first few pages of just them interacting with each other is a nice touch and helps settle us into the story at hand and makes the end more tragic.

Pizza man: I loved that it went a little dark there! Shen: the bowling match was hype! So much fun.

Two incredible comics despite some not so incredible circumstances. This round really seemed like a struggle due to irl events, but honestly I wouldn't have been able to tell for both of these comics. Pizza - you wrote the dynamic between the twins so well. As someone with a sibling I can relate to the bickering. And their deaths oof brutal. There wasn't a dull moment in your comic. Shen - Your line work is still really clean. I know you said you were struggling with your pen pressure but I honestly can't tell. I like that you played with your opponent's strength in the comic and I enjoyed your panelling during the bowling. The death was really well done too. Candy vs bowling what a combo.

Although I know you both talked about all the obnoxious unforeseen challenges that sprung up for you specifically, both these comics turned out great!

These were both fantastic! Pizza coming in strong with the build up and execution! Shen you went hard on the bowling references from the terminology to the poses!
