I don't have any insightful or critical observations to add to either of these and I do apologise for that but these were both great in the two different directions that they took Brett's past tragedy into.

Plat - Ahh! Brett and Rocio being new neighbors is a good precursor for more possible adventures to come! Very lowkey comic which is not a bad thing. It gives us a nice glimpse of Brett's softer/melancholic side. Pyras - Heck yeah Rocio's back!!! I very much enjoyed Brett's dramatic monologue. Makes him really endearing to me even more. I am sure you got a few things that you plan to reveal in the future. Really curious about those golden tears and Chacal's role from here on out. Raven is also glad to have her roommate back safe and sound (also prolly has a lot of questions for Rocio herself ). Another amazing comic from you which doesn't shock me at this point =P And I absolutely love that Sable cameo.

PlatinumI try to just focus on one piece of advice for each comic, and the thing I'd like to recommend to you is to use more references! Pose reference, clothing reference, anatomy reference, background reference... just go wild, pull up anything from Google Images or Pinterest or wherever you can find it to give you something to look at while you draw! This will help you both in the moment as you figure out how something should look, as well as in the long term, since you'll build up your library of visual language! I'm really interested in Brett's story so far. He's got an interesting backstory, and the themes you're exploring in his comics seem to intersect with some interesting themes going on in other comics on VOID right now. I'd love to see some collaboration with other artists who have characters with strong opinions about the police system, vigilante justice, and the lines that can get blurry when it comes to the morality and ethics of taking things into your own hands. I really look forward to more, and I hope we get to see both more ass kicking and more of an exploration into what makes Brett tick! PyrasThe first thing I want to applaud you for is how seamlessly you integrated the idea of a "previously on..." sum up with the story of your comic! Many artists will just throw in a page listing off characters and events from the past, which is an excellent way to get everyone up to speed, but you went the extra mile by mixing reminders of what happened in Rocío's story previously with hints and info about where she is now. And all of that wrapped up in a frame narrative of Brett Black watching this happen from his bar stool, hooking us in with the promise of a personal interest in Rocío's return that will get the core of the story rolling. This was a hilarious story, start to finish! It was really cool to have everything be in black and white until the fateful moment when Rocío recognized the demon and was frozen in place. It was cool to see that shift from kind of a goofy buddy cop kinda vibe to something sinister and threatening. This comic leaves us with so many questions, and I'm just waiting to see her story unfold! Also, enjoyed all of the VRG references 👍

Oh good read on both sides! I dig that vulnerable moment Brett had with Rocío, it was a sweet interaciton between those two. The ending with Brett's friend looking out for him and wishing him well was very sweet, I love it when a tragic character has others looking out for them. It's also great to see Rocío return, I am intrigued to see how this developement affects her later on. The news was a very good way to fill in the audience, and I was so excited to see Doña Belleza in action. Great pacing! I can't wait what's waiting for poor sweet Rocío!

These were both good, and I'm so happy to see Rocio back in comics! I'm sorry about the difficulties plat, I'm glad you finished the comic anyway. Pyras, I love the grayscale you used and the story you're building up for Rocio!

Interesting comics both of you. Platinum: loved the interactions between Rocio and Brett. Pyras: the shift from greytones to color in the second page as the fight goes on was cool!

great works you two! platinum: the art looks good! i must admit though i think retelling things that are already in detail in a bio and character sheet isn´t the best way to nourish a comic even if there are elements untold. (of course void is about the comics which should tell the story but since we have a biography section for void this is nonetheless a bit too much to my liking) I figure the former partner will play a role in the future? its an interesting aspect and i feel mischief somehow. i am excited to see where this is going. pyras: wonderful work as always. i chuckled a good bit but i wonder what urged you make brett kind of a comic relief character here with their vigilante talk. it was funny but also felt a little wrong? Also i might have missed the detail about rocio but why are her tears golden? super cool fade from greyscales to the full color section! very mysterious! btw jackal is badass :)
