Flytee - Ugh I love Stacy. It’s so fun seeing a vampire with this fun, bubbly personality. I think it’s easy to make a character like this a caricature, but she still felt like a person to me. “Quiet babes I’ll get back to killing ya” could’ve come right out of my flatmate’s mouth. I thought the comics flowed really well too despite two rounds being cut short. Felt like I was watching a dark comedy slice of life or something.
ahhh footini that was cute af. I know you were struggling (much like myself) for inspiration during the first week, but you really pulled off a fun, visually interesting comic.
Let's have these two fight again so Stacy can have her revenge- (and also finally have her night out)
Flytee: I thought your short page count would be merciful and the art to start was so juicy. you set up the characters and made me feel like there was meant to be more. the second page being the title page i for sure was going to notice we were supposed to buckle up. but if it wasn't set up that way, i would have been ok with just a snippet of a story establishing Jaja and Stacy used to be friends. that's fine! super short is fine.
