ernergy: it seems like you're so afraid to fail or so burdened by your past that you are not budging nearly enough to move forward.
Fred: Heathen makes an interesting point in that it would be good to see some character development of 9 to 5, alot of these comics are pretty funny but I think it's getting to the point where we should see some more to 9 to 5. I also think this joke was one of the weaker ones. The first read through I didn't realize what morgan was doing, mainly because it wasn't fully clear from the top down view and there wasn't a clear enough focus on the hands or us even seeing the hands moving some of those clips together or anything, not sure if you can do that in the 3d software you're using but a focus on the hands would have helped. also the whole joke with the clips felt like it could have been done with anyone and didn't take full advantage of your opponent. These jokes lean best when the normalize the extraordinary and the main joke in this seemed to be about paperclips which is pretty mundane already. Still these are enjoyable comics and I do enjoy seeing 9 to 5 around.
Energy - C’mon dude.
Fred - Morgan’s boredom/disinterest in office stuff is illustrated so well with her little paper clip tower. Colours look harmonious (I see you toned down the window lighting!), ironically Morgan fits in with the office palette pretty well. Fun and cute.
Energy: 3 weeks and you did two opponents like this at the same time? Major party foul.
Fred: I’d like to see 9-5 struggle somehow. I think you’ve proven the concept, but “opponent walks into 9-5’s office and they calmly talk through an issue” can only be done so many times before we start to want more. The concept is fine, but the office setting is boring. Give us something interesting to look at while we do our taxes.
Energy - such a shame you didn't get to finish! Such promising sketches!
Fred - I was onto the paperclips from the start and that ending made me VERY happy.
