Fearn: These layouts are amazing, how do you plan them? I love this stuff and want to learn how to composition stuff like this. Also i like the story since smell is such a strong trigger for memories. I also like the waterpaint feel and texture for this comic. I don't really have anything to crit about this but it's really nice.
Project: This is a really strong emotional story and has a very personal touch. I do wish some of the visuals were punched up to match the emotion of the story. Mainly I think the stars in the stary night could have been brighter and more abstracted like the Vangough painting. I do hope you continue these stories since it does end with a to be continued and it is a good emotional story, Also i think you did a good job with the cars.
fantastic job :3 I really enjoyed these comics!
Fearn - totally charming and funny. You perfectly illustrated a feeling of nostalgia. I also LOVED your art, the road turning into a swirl of pipe smoke is probably my favourite bit. It's really nice to see a traditional comic on here, I'm a fan.
Project- I'm a sucker for these types of feelsy stories. You conveyed the emotions here very effectively, and the dialogue/ stream of consiousness was well written and flowed nicely. I also think your classic anime art style is super cute. Especially on page 3.
In terms of crit your colouring threw me slightly. You had all of these really interesting choices and textures paired with flat harsh colours. It didn't feel as seemless as it could have? The last page is a good example of things looking a bit pasted on.
