Invitational Tournament 2019: Round 2

Footini: In some panels your colors are really fun, but in others they're kind of hard to look at. Are you testing the values by looking at it in black and white? Tombola: Ahh, so you're a stick figure skeleton sort of artist... Ranzombie: I like what you're doing with this black layout, and I love your visual storytelling. That jump is hot stuff.

RanZombie: This was quite the task since I've never done a 3 way match, and as usual I got a little too ambitious which resulted in the round lacking polish and some cut content which might've helped the plot flow a little smoother. Some of those details were: -Additional dialogue between Vincent and HALLE regarding the nature of Void City. -Some baby Vincent interaction. -Scene showing Vincents masterfully chosen hiding spot (a dumpster). -Scene where Vincent presents Jaja his baby self and they walk into the sunset. -Ending where Stein walks out of the rubble and renegotiates the contract because he "ain't getting paid enough for this shit". All in all though, I'm grateful for the opponents I got and it was super fun working with both Jaja and Vincent! Additionally their own rounds were super enjoyable to read! It felt amazing to see renditions of Stein in their own style! It's going to be a close round for sure! Tombola and Footini, it was a real honor matching up against you! Looking forward to our future fights! Thanks man! Damn all that stuff you cut out sounds so cool! Damn these week long deadlines bro.

I just want to say that both Ran and Footini's comics left me with a huge smile on my face after reading the, and I'm so honoured to have been paired up with two extremely creative and talented artists! Whoever wins, I'll be happy to continue Vincent's story from wherever you left it off!
