THESE ARE GREAT FOR DIFFERENT REASONS AND I AM SO HAPPY. I love the innocence of camel's comic. Its so flippin good. My only crit, and i noticed last round as well, is your human faces could use a slight bit of work refining (and this may just be a preference! so dont worry about it too much). Overall great though, fantastic humor. Skulls, yours is really neat, I love how curiosity killed some dogs this time. friccin'. Awesome. Good colors. Limited palette is my favorite! Keep up the good work!

Camel: You nailed it with this comic. I love how positive it is, the dynamic between all the characters, and the way you’ve written them all. Everyone is funny in their own way, and the overall premise is just a lot of fun. Dale always manages to be the highlight of the comics he’s in, without stealing the entire show, it’s never at the expense of any of the other characters, and that’s a rare thing. He’s a delight to read, and the characters he interacts with are all the better for having met him. Skulls: This comic is not just better than your first round, it uses the ending of the previous comic as a segue into something much more amusing, and chucks the mushy stuff out the window. I love it. Again, Dale is hilarious, and the way you’ve written and drawn him and your pair here is just wonderful. From his nonchalant dunking on Greece to his little hand motion as he rides away, the acting is top notch. Unfortunately, the comic lulls as soon as Dale leaves the scene. While the vagueries are a funny conceit, I felt it dragging on a tad too long. The ending is funny, but I wish you had utilized a more detailed art style for the hell dimension. Juxtaposing the cartoony characters against a realistically rendered, grotesque hellscape of abject horror would have made for a bigger payoff.

these were both super funny - the jokes were right up my alley, especially on camel's side - and very nice to look at!! good work! sorry i don't have more nuanced critiques for a tournament battle but they're still very very good.

Both of these comics are great for different reasons, great job to both of you. Camel: These re-imagining and alternate universes have been pretty fun and is nice to see how you changed the characters. I also really like the black and white panels to represent the loud music moments, it's good to see you play with the medium to try and replicate sound and I think it works here. also the nirvana drum session was great. This was overall a fun comic and I look forward to seeing more of your experimental comics doing AUs with characters. Skulls: I love this comic. The humor with none of the things being named worked so well and I loved how Xia just casually did this because it seemed like it would be fun. It also just worked because of how hard you committed to the joke and in the end pay it off sending them to some hell gate thing. I'm interested to see how you continue it from there and how you will tie this up with previous threads.

Camel: one of those days, I will get you to teach me the way of the Radical strawberry hahaha. Amazing how you managed to completely adapt >Dale and make him even FRESHER Skull: Welp, Xia failed the first rule of Void (that I totally just invented) to not follow one armed fruit to cemeteries. Wonder how they will get out of this one

Camel- Enjoyed the dialogue, made me chuckle a few times. Composition was easy to follow and I really like your art style. It was a fun read. I have no clue if you stayed true to the characters as I'm learning who everybody is but I thought it was fun. Nice job. Cracking Skulls- Your art style is gorgeous, love your take on all the characters. I found the flow of the story was confusing at times, mostly due to speech balloon placement. The story was amusing but left me scratching my head at the end. May just be my inexperience with the characters but I could have used some kind of explanation of where they ended up. Overall, both made me laugh and were enjoyable reads. Great work by both!

Camel: Teen Xia and friends are such a treat, this comic is charming as h*ck. The biggest problem I have with it is just, the line work is a little loose in places? And I get that that's a time thing, adding polish obviously the last part of making a comic. Maybe try experimenting with line widths? That's all I got. Keep up the good work. Skulls: This one feels like the start of something cool! The only issue I have with it is, it feels like an appetizer without a main course. I loved the "Stuff" joke, that one hit home pretty well. The pages look polished, and even the uncolored pages are strong on their own. I'm curious to see where this plot goes!

Oof! This comic almost killed me but it was such a blast to do! I hope you guys enjoy it! Here's some external links to music/video that may enhance the comic, as it does contain some references: Merzbow, Woodpecker No. 1 (Warning: LOUD): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gzBqayDmJ8 Talking Heads - Burnin' Down The House: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBUe_v6Mi70
