i can extremely appreciate a comic that is just an incredibly extended detroit joke. like, for instance, detroit. or this comic!!!
(the joke is that i'm saying detroit is a parody of itself)
good stuff, i absolutely love styles like this that radiate chaos from every pore and that i can barely grasp the form of. it's an aesthetic!
all these jokes were really funny, the Detroit references were pretty enjoyable. I also like the style you draw your characters in. In terms of story and the change between page 2 to 3 was a bit jarring as well as the one off gag of the two policemen in page 5 since it seems slightly random. If you had an establishing shot on page 3 I think this would have mostly been fine but the story does feel incomplete. So another thing that could be done is just make it all one off tangentially related gags. basically just doing gags separated further in the event timeline so that the sudden change between each page was consistent and not as distracting, so long as we know it's a series of one off gags and not all one scene. It would be funny to see the jokes you would do with the both of these characters referencing the later parts of the game
Oh man, the Investigator's introduction cracked me up. This whole comic cracked me up. It's a real danger all of us face, really.... any of us could be next.
so, this was a funny comic! very different than the usual stuff here and I like that. I think a color or tone to this would have really been to your advantage, since all the lines are the same and it feels flat, and sometimes characters get lost. even some spot blacks for shading would have really helped.
it also feels like some pages are missing? for example, the jump between page 2 and 3 is very sudden and confusing. there's also not much of an ending. alsoo some typos/mistakes that didn't get edited out. I know you're busy but you also had over a month for this!! I did enjoy the silly detroit: become human references though. good jorb
