Thank you very much everyone for the words, I'm happy we were able to make something that resonated so well :) Trust me, sacrificing Petey broke our heart just as much too

PYRAS & RED- I'll be the first to say when I found out who we had Round two, I turned to my partner and went "well, we had a good run." lol. Fighting friggin KAIJU felt like a super impossible task and after reading your side it still feels like it. You start off with what I expected, but where you took this tale I don't think anyone could've anticipated. Could anyone truly imagine a Void even more devastated and twisted than it is now? You guys did and this tournament is happier for it. This world, this tragedy and narrative was dazzling. The colors on this seemed to work expertly in enhancing the inks you guys got down to showcase some somber scenes. Mimi and Petey felt like an unlucky pair wandering a haunting museum of ghostly artifacts. Everything from SLAW's crest to the VCPD and more were little tidbits of once was and what has fallen that I really appreciated. All of it boiling to a shatter point with Gigara, Creamy and Somadis looming just left me wondering how the hell these two were gonna get out of this, and then you RIP MY HEART OUT with the fact only one makes it. Petey has established himself as the only good and pure thing in this tournament that seeing what happens to him is simultaneously heartwarming and heart shattering. This should be illegal you guys. This seriously broke me. ;3; Seeing the play by play post of what you two had intended and spawning a fun jam out of it is just the icing on the cake. I'm gutted we didn't get to see the culmination of this, or see toons shockingly sacrificing further to try and save the day. This is such a unique and grim way to take this tournament, I really wish (and hope) we see more.

Pyras and Terran: WELL looks like it's the end of the world and everyone's zombies? And/or Kaiju? Undead Kaiju? Still trying to figure out if this is an upgrade or downgrade. But, man, you really got me so into your opponents' characters' narrative that I stopped a moment and asked "Wait, whose comic is this?" You've been handling this tournament as a tag team of storytellers, not characters, which is so different! Barrel and Kozispoon: Oh, hey, it's also the end of the world. TTT goes big or goes home, huh? That was some Mount Doom action right there. I know the joke was striking the Jojo poses, but that "being hit" pose is the part of it that really killed me on page 8! XD Poor Petey, though. First he suffers the terror of the world and this plot he's been caught up in, and now he's suffering from a potential broken heart...

Team kaijuus: shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit that's GRIM ! that alternate future is super cool and is like a mix of everything i love (post apo, desert punk, monster epidemics, kaijuus...) i'm really liking the idea of alternate future like this one. Team toons: the feeling of "incoming doom in your face is really HIGH here !! wonder what will happen next WHO WILL FINALY SAVE THE DAY !!???

Pyras & Terran: Wow, the quality of your comic really impressed me! The art and lines is so clean and crisp, it's easy to tell that both of you put a lot of effort into this round :) As has been previously brought up, I really like that a majority of the comic is without dialogue however I wasn't really digging the plot so much - it didn't feel like there was a lot of substance there but perhaps this is because it was leading into something into the next round perhaps? Maybe. However, really well done both of you! Barrel & Kozi: Like last round, I was genuinely impressed by the amount of effort that went into this comic. It really felt like I was reading a graphic novel in a bookstore as opposed to something online! There were a few bits here and there where I was confused by the flow of the story and where it was going although I do enjoy that the story ended on a bit of cliffhanger - makes me eager to learn where it's going next and what's going to happen to both Mimi and Petey!

Terred; this is by far my favorite comic of this round. Gigara Somadis and Creamimi standing as gods of destruction over this new world of reanimated hellish horrors is just a fantastic visual. I enjoy the aesthetic you went with here, as well as the redesigns, both the heavier monster makeovers and the subtler postapocalyptic heroes. For the most part, the story flows well too, but I felt the end lost me a bit. I was going to comment on the timeline but going back to read it turns out it wasn't ten hours like I first thought >.> Barrelspoon; it's cute and looks great and reads good but I just wasn't that into it and the ending fell flat? I dunno, I feel this is one I should like more than I do, it's competent but just not doing what I'd want from it I guess.

this was really good both of you ;o; pyrasred: how could you do this actually this looks really nice, and the colors are wonderful yet again! I'm actually interested in seeing the next part of the story, and I'd hope that if you were to progress you'd bring petey back, right? right?? barrelkozi: OMG. so much!! and it all remains pretty consistent throughout! there were a couple times that panel layout confused me, or the action was such that I wasn't always sure exactly what was going on. BUT I got the main gist of it and dang, what a cliffhanger. good job!!

Both teams did an absolutely smashing sides for this round, all pat yourselves on the back. Pyras & Red: It was a nice twist that all of a sudden the story is tossed so far into the future, and I dig that 95% of the comic is majorly silent, the plot is clear and concise and the characters portray their emotions and dynamic between them very well. I particularly loved your dystopian environments that are scattered with little easter eggs of Void City. The double page bleeds were a little bit tricky to read, more because you have to scroll from side to side but they're still really nicely set up and I don't even particularly have any criticisms I can give you; there's obviously a few unanswered questions that pop up during the comic but I know that would have been more so intentional for suspense. Though I can't forgive you for what you did to Petey (PETEY WHYYY!?) This was a strong and emotional comic. well done! Kozi and Barrel: *Cracks knuckles* Though I can tell this isn't as finished off as the first round, this comic is still satisfyingly enjoyable and as up-tempo if not more so than R1. I love how full of life your environments are and how the story is a well blended mixture of slap-stick humour and surreal horror. During the climax of the comic some things can get a bit lost in translation because there is so much going on, I didn't even notice in my first reading that Park Kim gets knocked out of her Kaiju form. Another little snag, when i've conversed with a couple friends about it, it gets a bit confusing when Mammon is reintroduced - I happened to assume correctly that the video is pre-round 1, because we see his demise at the end of round 1, but that wasn't made entirely clear but it doesn't really create that much confusion or take away from the plot so I wouldn't call it damaging. I love Petey and Mimi's dynamic, especially as it seems that they both equally support each other emotionally and Petey is even gaining a bit more confidence compared to his shock in R1 so thats some really nice development to see. Since Clydesdale is some what brought up, visually, in Mimi's bedroom I'm kinda curious what he's up to during all of this? His love's name is being dragged through the mud (or should we say cream? ha, I'm so funny) at the moment and he's not been around - he's not a toon so he can't be a creamling? I'm curious if that's something you plan to later address. an equal well done to you both though, I'm very impressed by how much energy and heart this plot-line is having, my favourite kind of Void story.

Oooh boy, how do I even comment on this? The two apocalyptic teams produced such excellent comics this round, and it's saddens me that only one will get through. Both made me feel emotional, cheering and worrying for the characters over the circumstances they find themselves in and how they're gonna escape this. I wish I knew how to properly critique these battles, so I think I'll leave it at that and just say, GOOD JOB to both teams.

Bozirrel - Man, I just have nothing substantial to critique. The narrative flows very naturally and is super intriguing, the art, while devoid of much real traditional shading, doesn't feel like it could actually be improved by it in any way and is super visually interesting and beautiful despite it, all the gags hit really well, and you use your guys' cartooniness to their absolute best! Basically the only thing I can think of is that Gigara and Somadis' presence in the plot is rather superficial, since basically all they amount to is the actual setting of the story, not really affecting it. Pyred - I have to say, the whole Mad Maxxy, Fallouty thing, while a super neat idea, just didn't draw me in very well with how it was utilized. I understand the intention here was "wistful fun adventure that builds mimi and peyote's platonic bond ends in tragedy" but the wistful fun adventure just didn't do that job very well. It felt like a lot of emphasis on the environment and not very much on the toons, so when Peyote had to make *THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE* it just didn't impact me at all! Like, "Oh, I guess he's going to do that. Aw, poor Mimi." And considering that's the only real plotpoint in your plot, getting the reader in that frame of mind is absolutely essential. Maybe I'm just particularly unfeeling, and reading this in a crowded public place hasn't helped, but other comics this round *did* impact me a bit more significantly than this, I feel like? That first page though, that was pretty sweet. Loved that.

Oh. My. Goodness. These are both too epic for words. But I'm gonna give some anyway Pyras and Red: This was such an unexpected way to use Mimi and Petey and I loved every minute of it. The colors were are really nicely done. You use the limited pallets really well. It would have been nice to see maybe a silhouette or some subtle indication of who's talking to Mimi at the end there to give one more little piece of interest at the end and to give the cliffhanger some extra impact. The story was very well paced and you did a good job of telling it pretty much entirely without dialogue. It was really fun to see the end result of all these disparate apocalypse events taking place in a single area. Kozi and Barrel: This was the perfect mix of cute toon-antics and giant monster doomsday action. I love how alive and populated you made the Void City world feel despite all the horrific stuff going down. And wow, you guys did SO MUCH and not a single page feels rushed or unfinished. I've reviewed the comic several times trying to think of crits and I don't think I have anything else to say except good job! These were so hard to vote for, especially since I want to know what happens next in BOTH of the stories :'D
