The only thing I had an issue with us that the transition to your other characters seemed a bit abrupt, and was over just as quickly. It felt sort of shoehorned in, and could have used a little bit more of a lead up to it. !
Time always plays a huge role and you often have to pick and choose how to play things out and what to cut or what to condense. In this case, I could have done a few more pages, but I lacked the setup and it's possible my quality would have suffered. But then again, I finished like 4 days early so maybe I'm lazy.
@Orion: I love the look and feel of your drawing style, and the particular flair your line work has for details. On the other hand, your conveyance on page 2 and 3 was a bit muddled; it was difficult trip understand what was going on. As for the creativity and entertainment, I found these somewhat lacking. The entry just sorry of happened and then it was over; there was no real conflict or resolution. It feels incomplete, and there really isn't anything to get invested in. Maybe next time add a little more character interaction to spice up your story? Although points for the cringe factor on that broken bone. I shuddered. I'd love to see more work from you in the future!
@Julz: I love this entry. The style is so enjoyable, and it presents very cleanly so that there's no issue telling what's going on. It was really easy to get into the story you've got going, and you kept just enough in the dark to make it interesting, make me want to read more of your work. Really like where your inks were going, they just need a bit more oomph- a little more variation, maybe some cross hatching? Inking is my favoritist thing in the world and you should really play around with your inks! Add some major blacks! A few extra lines! Who knows you might do something you like! You can also use your inks to fill up space in your backgrounds to give them a bit more dimension. Page 2 is a little bit on the confusing side because of it's layout. It looks like you really tried new and fun layouts but definitely consider other variations of the page to make it a bit more cohesive. Like you could totally play up the falling aspect on page two if maybe you had the panels "falling" or breaking off of each other?

Okay so first of all I LOVE your color palettes. I feel like your colors really play off the mood of the situation- David's colors are cooler and calmer cuz of his chill personality, the reds happening in the brief moments of distress. Loving it! I also freaking love Cam's expression on the first page as we see him falling. I was kinda bummed that after that any big expressions were extremely simplified. Get those expressions on man!
Aside from that, I agree with Skulls that I was kind of expecting something more of an adventure due to the title as opposed to a hi nice to meet you oh well there's my ride kthx byyeeee. Beautiful comic though!
orion: this was a rather nice quality based comic on your end. you had some good inking happening, its just a shame you couldnt finish the story overall. maybe try dome tones for your inks. that may benefit you in order to remove any empty spaces, like the sky in the last page there.
julz: any comic with a cameo of jossu is the best. Aside from that, you had really great quality going on, but i was expecting more hijinks or something to that nature based on the title of the battle. you got some good laughs out of me regardless. you overall gave the readers a feel for who your character is and the storyline behind it. looking forward to more!

Loved the colors, David was entranced ! Cam is just so cute, i could pitch him/her with Louise and see what happens (laughing evily)
