Light Speed Death Tournament, Round 2

PUZZLE: I had a tough time telling what was going on because even though I get lost in the art, it's just low contrast and it's hard telling what's happening all the time. I think le Fred hits spot on there. It was hard for me to tell who was talking the whole time and I got really confused about the characters besides Puck. I don't get how Mortido came into it. It's a real pity because your artwork really is so beautiful and the storyline felt like it had this make-believe element to it - the clarity was just a bit lacking. MINT: (Just a quick note on grammar, Tammy should be reining in Mortido not making him king :) ) Pretty much all my crit for you has been covered so all good there. I loved the build up with Tammy here even if the ending fell off a bit. Really nice work throughout though and even if your inks weren't quite as neat as round one, you've still done amazingly well for what you were up against here. JONG: This is sick in a gross way mang. The colours, linework, layout, ridiculous story... Everything reads really well for me aside from maybe the pacing/clarity with Tammy's powers. Love this comic a lot and I don't really have any crit for it. Terrified to have you on board.

Puzzle yo I love your stuff forever, always so charming and fun. It looks really cool for the most part, but the pastel colours everywhere kind of just melt together in places detracting from readability, similarly for some of the text, because of the white on light colours. Mints it was a nice premise, but everything just kinda gets weird and rushed and forced. it took me a while to get what was happening with puck, you really should have shown that punch instead of just calling it, especially considering there was a character named punch buggy last round it's just weird, and the ending is kinda dumb and borderline cliched at this point. I know you can do really good, and I think you might have gotten a bit overwhelmed by the constraints of this particular battle, and you gave it a valiant effort, but it just ain't doing it for me this time. Jong man, this is messed up and gross and great. The exact result vs the intention of the gal's magic could have been more immediatly obvious, but holy poops that monstrosity when she shoves puck in there, 500% fleshy all the way, amazing. It's ridiculous in your own unique way.

Puzzlething- I think yours has my favorite visuals out of the three. Everything's so softly colored and storybook looking, perfect for the 'kid adventure' they were going on, hehe. My only problem is it took two reads for me to figure out what happened. It wasn't shown on screen, so it looked to me like Puck was being dramatic then you turn around and the other two have morphed into something else, rather than dying. Maybe if you had showed them dead, and then showed them emerging from the mess in their new forms? I can understand the limited space though. Minteh- I really like the way you set this up with Puck as some sort of catalyst for Dyna left ahead of time for some future problem. Always fun when character storylines intertwine like that. I'm not %100 on how I feel about the punchline with Dyna's powers, but it worked for the story you were telling. Plus, I liked the way you portrayed Mortido too. The skull wink was the best, hehe. Choleric- I've got a big compilation of retro horror comics somewhere and this story definitely made me think of them, both with your style and the abomination Dyna accidentally creates. It makes for a very horrific scene, which of course Puck and Mortido don't take seriously, which turns it funny again hehe. I don't really understand why your first and last panels are in a completely different style from the rest of the comic. It's kind of jarring to look at, but maybe that's on purpose.

For anyone checking this at work, there is definitely a vagina close-up on one of the pages, so keep that in mind if people are watching over your shoulder. Just uploaded my pages! Cutting it closer than I would have liked but I am super proud of what I put up. If I get murdered here, I can die happy haha
