I think that in general your colour palletes are getting way better. Like the pastels, brown-and-purple, purple-and-yellow, there were alot of really solid colour choices going on here. I'm not super fond of it being mostly flats, but it is quite a long comic for two weeks. And while I think the more experimental pages do a good job pushing the crazed emotions running through the scene, I think that some of the colours you chose only work well in their own panel, and not when you look at the page as whole. And I thought a few of the colours were way too saturated, like as saturated as they could possibly be. You can ease up on that and still be intense.
My favorite parts were definitely the earlier sleepover bits, but I'm totes a sucker for slice-of-life stuff and the pestering of millers. In general I really enjoy your lighter, comedy type stuff, and I think you have a real knack for creating funny, pleasant scenarios.

Aww duuuuude, that sucks. I was really curious as to what the Anti-Satin Society was gonna do too, since they didn't want to fight. I'm still not really a fan of the vague, thin lines you use for distance stuff, I'd love to see you play around with different ways of illustrating space.
SHEN: Lively and vibrant character work! The background lines are very wobbly, though, almost like they were done really fast. Like the desks on Page 1 and the perspective on that couch on Page 3. But overall very cool story that really made good use of characterization and advancing the respective character's personal plots :)
KURA: I like what I see so far!
Chiming in to get my vote in, but expect more indepth critique tomorrow ~ very glad to see two of Void's best creators compete! These quirky magical girls are always a treat to see in action!
Thanks for the advice and crits, everyone! i'm going to keep working on my colours, but it looks like I'm starting to touch on something that works for me. I confess I started running out of time to colour towards the end so some of my decisions were based on time restraints but I hope I can take all your advice and start to do better. I'm glad to see people are interested Lilyfeather's story! I'll be touching on that more in future comics!
Kura~! I'm so glad you fought me, I'm sorry you couldn't finish but I hope you can finish as a BB one day so I can see what happens! I love the Anti-Satin-Society-Who-Were-Too-Late-To-Change-Their-Name! They all have really creative designs, and the Sentai guy cracks me up! Plus anything with Lily and Satin being adorable together is always bonus! Sorry to stress you out with our battle but what you drew looks really great and I can't wait to see where you take it!
Animeshen- I really enjoyed the pages where you experimented with the colors, it gave the whole situation more feeling. I kinda wished the color experiment continued even when Satin let go. I felt her desperation with pages 6 through 8 but didn't really feel her regret with page 10. I really like how things got into the serious mood with page 11 again. All together it was a really cute comic and I think your doing a great job with coloring =)
Majikura- I really like how you draw hands! I dunno they're just of the most natural looking hands that I've seen in awhile. The Anti-Satin Society characters are all so well design and with one panel I instantly get a feel for their personalities! Really love the backgrounds as well. Beautiful work!

Shen - I am totally loving your coloring experiments! Please continue! Also I am thoroughly enoying how messed they both are, the idea of being killed not being much of a problem for Lily.
Shen: Some comics give each character a color scheme. For example, Lilyfeather might be orange, and Satin would be blue. When the main focus is on one character, the environment changes to fit that color scheme a little more (so lilyfeather might always have an orange tint or orange environment, and satin would have blue instead). Doesn't work with a lot of comics, but since Lilyfeather and Satin are like a duet and from this comic it seems like you're going to use limited color palates sometimes, I might as well point the idea out. I just noticed it at page six (panel two) and page seven (panel 3) had a similar color scheme, but one character was being choked while the other was screaming, which is why I pointed that out. However, it doesn't bother me at all on page 11 and 12, I don't have an explanation for why.
Shen: You always know how to work my emotions. I love how you explore your characters and show their distinct personalities. The contrast between Lilz and Satizzle is lovely to observe, and the ending showed a deeper side of Lilyfeather that I wasn't expecting. I'm really looking forward to future stories with her, because I know they're going to be exciting!
Kura: Like Pyras said, it's a shame you couldn't finish in time. I hope you find time to finish this as a BB, because I love where it was going. Your inks are solid, as always; you know how to compose both the page as a whole and individual panels (with plenty of fun details in the background); and all of the characters in this comic were fun and felt original. Oh, and your cameo made my day; not just Ancelin, but actually using the Renaissance Mall as the setting. I honestly didn't think anyone but me would continue that plot point and was even considering scrapping it until I saw this comic. :), <3, etc.

Shen: Great comic and good to see more insight in their relationship! I think your experimentation with the colors worked in some cases, but not in others. Probably weakest is the large panel of page 12. I think some more hilights and shadows would fill up the 'normal-colored' pages better.

okay so I'm still trying to kind of "find myself" as a colourist so the colours in this comic get reeeeally experimental... sorry if I make your face bleed, I'm learning. I'm trying to start a new arc for Lily, I hope you like it! Sorry if it doesn't make sense!
