Voodoo - Glad to see Abomino in the mix again. Hope you're next battle goes smoothly without life stuff interference :D
Seevah - Really enjoyable, entertaining comic! Loved the inner monologue, and the characterization all around. Looking back at your older comics, you've really developed your skills a LOT! Very nice color technique, and the action was really fluid and fun. Only think I can think of is the texture--maybe try it toned down in the next comic, but the idea itself isn't bad. Looking forward to the next match, and more of Godada! :D
Red: Thanks! Yeah I need to improve on my text. My monitor is so big I can never tell how the type would turn out but I will work on it! Also I was playing with the adding a grainy texture to dumb down some of the over saturated colors guess that needs more work :I
Also how i do Montion blurs on manga studio.
1 Draw object in a diffrent layer
2 use the speed line tool on it (calibrate for what direction you want it to go under tool properties)
3 multiply the layer lowering the opacity of the bottom layers.
4 BATTLE GODADA!!!
Puzzlething: Thanks too! After your last comment about my colors i've been trying my best to get work on my color options thanks for noticing! I'm getting the hang of digital so I figured my line quality will get better and your comments will help on that.
I also went thru alot of OnePunch Man and Attack on Titan to understand the sense and feel of scale and power they depict in their comics im glad you got that sense and feel from them.

Sucks that real life got in the way dude, cause it's seems like you would've turned in something super great if time had allowed. Your technical skills look so strong. Hopefully the next fight goes better!
Seevah -
Your most def getting better with colour dude. I like that you're reserving the soft colour changes to expressing shifts in the characters colour, like Godada's stomach or Abomino's nose, and not using it to render form so much. I still think you can get a little too saturated with your colours, like that red and that yellow are a little too close the reddest and yellowest a thing could possibly be. Still, huge improvement over when you first started.
You still need to work on your line quality a bit. Sometimes it's like really confident, but there are some spots with it gets sort of blotchy and rough. There are also a few spots where you try to create larger/more-complicated curves out of multiple lines, which is totally fine, except that sometimes the line kinks where both of lines meet. Sometimes they don't even connect, leaving gaps and spots of lighter lineweight that have nothing to do with the subject.
I love love love the juxtaposition of Godada's melodramatic inner monologue, and what's actually going on. You made Abomino seem like the absolute perfect match up for Godada, and I think that's a sign of great writing. You also do a fantastic job of illustrating just how massive and powerful Godada can feel. Those multiple huge screaming pages were great, I totally had flashbacks to OnePunch Man. You're getting way better at digital stuff dude, keep pounding it out!
Voodoo: That's a shame dude, you had an amazing start here! I'm really glad you went through all of that effort to get up what you could though. It seriously looks great. I hope you still stick around and keep battling now that you've got your technical difficulties worked out!
Seevah: Haha, this is great dude! I really enjoyed this one (I'm not biased or anything lol) My only criticism is that sometimes your text is pretty large. Please share with me the secrets of doing that motion effect in manga studio too!! Also, I guess I'm not sure about the grainy texture on everything. In some spots I kind of like it, and in other spots not so much. But, I can't wait to see more Godada WE HAVE TO BATTLE PLZ.
Eeewwww. Damn, I found myself in a bad spot this evening too knowing I wouldnt be near my computer so I borrowed my wifes laptop (no photoshop) and dropped $250 on a new 11x17 scanner and after the pain in the ass unboxing and setup got everything scanned and uploaded with 15 minutes til deadline. Looking now I see that DPI is waaayyy too large so my apologies. I forgot about that. Lesson learned.
Well everyone I'd first like to say that this battle was very important to me and I was hoping to come up with a solid 15 pages that I had planned. unfortunately I got slammed with some commission work, moved to a new house, and had a family emergency as of recent. From what I saw Seevah looks to have something truly epic in store and I'm sure Abominos comeback isnt going to be quite what I had aspired. Thanks for the welcomes and I hope you find at least a chuckle of entertainment in what I was able to get done. Cant wait to see what you got Seevah! Sorry I didnt deliver.
