LeFred: Thanks for the cameo! This comic was hilarious and I love your character. I like your panel borders and all the backgrounds look great!
Jongbom: I liked this one! Your ink work and minimal use of color were very well done.
No complaints!
I love how Gwen and Regie are everywhere! :3
LeFred - Your art has really evolved! Formerly vibrant blocks of color, now you're giving us shades and gradients and all sorts of cool nuances in the pallete. Really nice--I especially loved the courtroom for some reason--perhaps because of the judge and the great background. And that page 6 is just great, really surprising the way you did that scene. I can't wait to see more, and see your work evolve further :)
Jong - I enjoyed your linework and character design! Your version of Lucy looks so cool, and Mortido is crazy as ever. The shading and limited color scheme work so well together. That scene where Lucy shields her eyes and the shadow crosses her face is wonderful. Your work has a weirdness that is both sexy and unsettling. Can't wait to see more!
I think I'm just going to sound like a broken record echoing what everyone else said. I literally came away from this battle feeling like I was K.O-ed on both sides by entertainment and quality. Jong ,your inkwork is sublime and felt really inspired. Like I was leafing through something drawn by Maurice Sendak. your expressions were really great and again, the tie in from your last fighters exploits worked really well as a story.
LeFred, you never fail to leave me laughing. For someone who has a fighter most would consider kind of Jean Grey of Xmen fame-ish, her battles always feel like an acid trip of comedy. The animated bits felt a little heavy handed, but to be fair, I think it made Lucy beating Mortido with a tape recorder come across better if it had just been static.
