Clyyyyyde <3 Oh he just needs a big cartoony hug. Dig your stuff as usual, Rofl- I like the idea of the characters inner monologue as he walks through the environment. Video, the more I read the more intrigued I am with your character. I would work on adding some dynamics to your fight scenes as I found myself sorta 'ho-hum'-ing those battle pages and going throguh them quickly to see the end result.

Kid Vid: Still carrying forth Jules mysterious motives I see, though I'd prefer to see you inject some more depth and complexity into your stories- we've seen quite a few straight beatdowns from you now. Though your technical skill is improving at a breakneck pace, you've got some neat color and style tricks thrown in the mix to play with the palette and power of the punches- good on you. I think your high action style needs to break out of those tiny postage stamps of panels tho- go for some bigger hits, work the pacing of your punches and play with the environs more- those are your next steps mate. Get on it! RoflQu: Dear lord man such ambiance, such pathos- you've really constructed a narrative and a setting here. Your fine lines and moody tones so starkly juxtapose the old timer cartoon vibe of Clyde- I suppose that's the point- THE SHEER ANACHRONISM of it! That dark structure can take you places but it does take time. I'd have liked to have seen more but you told the tale and two weeks is really no time at all. I think above and beyond all else, you strive to make beautiful works of art that transcend the mere telling of a comic battle and I realize this is something for which there are no shortcuts. Keep doing what you do, there are far too few who do it.

Awwww. There may be missing pages to your entry, ROFL, but I didn't have trouble understanding the chain of events. There is a "blip" in the action, but I didn't get lost. Looks like you prioritized in the right kind of ways. Looks like you had your setting really well planned out, and the atmosphere is just killer. All. Dat. Hatchin'. I liked this just fine, but I am looking forward to the BB... if only because I want more of a good thing. Video: I like your stuff. You keep putting out these crazy action sequences, and it never ceases to entertain. Certainly, I enjoyed the way you had these boys interacting, and the dialogue was punchy and full of character. Neaaaaat. Your backgrounds do seem to be quite simple, which is fine, but doesn't mesh well with how you draw characters. Liven it up, keep it interesting, add some stuff in there for us to look at, eh? I want to see more action and drama outta you! Nice match, gentlemen.

varela1101: i think people should vote more on this comic, i mean there's a c**p load of viewers but only 16 votes?! whats up with that?! Some comics get many votes, some get few - like sand through an hourglass, such are the days of our lives :)

Yeah Rof, you know I'll always be a fan of your approach, but before reading you didn't finished I was totally lost as to what happened. Clydesdale is just too boss sometimes.

This was entertaining ^^ In the end I must say I enjoyed Jules' side of the battle more - That was a pure and sweet long fight. RoflQu, as much as I love the styling and everything this was bit too quick to the point - 3 pages of buildup, then one big smash and it's over (kinda like my sex-life.. HAH!). I see in the comments you've planned more, but that battle-scene should have been sooo much more!!

RoflQu: Actually, I'm unfinished! I had about 4 - 5 pages more dialogue between these two (and dialogue on the last two pages.) but I left the pages at a friend's last night. I'll upload the entire thing as a beyond battle later on, however. It was a good fight and I'd enjoyed the battle. Nice work on your side Video, keep battling. There's more!? I'm excited.
