in film, we say "you can make a bad movie out of a great script, but you can never make a good movie out of a crap script".
The two stories here have good, entertaining scripts, but ultimately the higher production value, like you said, lets you appreciate one story more easily.
Now it is true, sometimes the art quality of the comic wins it regardless of content~ good observation~
I do love Mr Awesome's momma's cocking. - It did make me laugh but for the wrong reasons.
I volunteer to do all your proofreading, Wolcik, anytime to save the universe ;)
I kinda liked your art, Mr Wolt, but I think it was too... incomplete. I think the messy style can be good, but you need to maybe push it further so it's still messy but kinda clearer and looks more on purpose than look like you just didn't have enough time. I've seen it done. :)
I find it interesting how better art seems to be responsible for 70% of score. I think story/entertainmentwise you were both on a similar level, but because of the clearer art Tatsura's was just much easier to read and take in? It's just my subjective opinion.
Wolt, the line-art is kind of nice/endearing..but for the love of god at least have someone proofread your text!!
Tatsura, you continue to deliver solid comics and impress me, I enjoy the direction of this new character and very believable scenario and characterization of awesome, nice work!!!!
Tatsura - Sorry again about the visual aspect of this battle - but don't worry cause I'm planing to use Izanami for Awesome's Antology summary :)
I like your story, and if I did see those spoilers I might make Izanami more suspicious and make her more clumsy with english - it might not end up like exposition onslaught if I focused on that more XD
UPLOADED!
Sorry, the only excuse I have is Skyrim... I didn't want to default since I had this script in my head for so long. Tetsura, I liked drawning Izanami so if you accept my offer I replace one of NPCs with her iny my storyline :)
