wow, it's a shame i didn't read this before. but DAMN, it isn't everyday a comic stops me cold. good story and gorgeous colored pencils. some spots of inconsistency, but seems like other people already touched on that. i kinda liked that it was bright and a little hard to read, gave it a dreamy quality.
anyhow, just wanted to say very good job on this.
thanks, people!
Pyras- thank you!
Angie- Thanks, I totally agree, I only scanned everything after drawing, so I didnt really test the pencil density... leveling to make it darker only made it look like botched crayons; I'll know better if I ever decide to use color pencils again (unlikely, they were such a pain, haha)
Ben- I guess so. I didnt think too much into it, since I was planning on getting back to Lucy.
Will- I know, I'm working on it... thanks.
Kent! If you catch that laptop thief, give him an extra knee to the balls.
I loved that Le Fred, I found it very touching and the technique was great. The only thing I would suggest is adjusting the levels some to make it slightly darker because there were times I felt everything was way too light.
As for Kent, I just read on his facebook his laptop got stolen so that most likely explains the default. Hopefully he manages to get it back.
Alright, I done did it and got them pages on the upload and the thumbs in the mail.
That was a though one to see threw, but I think it was worth it, if only to try something different.
