That's another rematch we have to do, Tom. Super job on that whole tournament win. And, haha I don't know about that. We pretty much tied as far as I'm concerned Ike. I think that calls for a tiebreaker down the road.

Awesome job all around! TODK-while I felt like quality wise this was a bit lower than your previous entry, this was still a great entry. (I imagine that's just because this one doesn't have all the toning of the previous one which helped it look more complete) The actual presentation would have been helped quite a bit with some proper clean up and scanning, I hate to see an awesome comic getting hurt by bad scanning. The story was top notch, I really enjoyed the latter half of the comic a lot. Roflqu-I felt like you did a lot of growing up in this tournament, I don't think anyone else can give you shit for not following through with stuff ever again now because you did solid work during this whole tourney. I liked your choice of color a lot, especially for scenes featuring RTV, that last page with the buildings was lovely. The only thing that really hurt you was your quality jumped around some but I know you had finals. I think in the darker scenes you could have benefited from some more highlights here and there to make things pop. While the full body shot on page 9 was great, the lack of lighting against the rain effects made the scene look kind of muddy. Making the lighting of the buildings behind her a bit stronger so that the figures would be lit more would have helped a lot. I enjoyed the story quite a bit although I kind of feel like page 15 could have been totally silent which would have made the scene more powerful. Iketeruguy-Your lines are very slick and I love all your little details. I really like how you portrayed the characters and the backgrounds in the darker scenes were awesome. But in more well lit scenes, the backgrounds left a lot to be desired. I feel like either you just didn't have time to really do something super slick on page 3, or you were just relying on the blacks to make the backgrounds appear more crisp. Either way, I think that page could have used some blacks to really smooth things out. I do agree with Brian that color would be nice on your work but we both know that's happening soon wink wink. Storywise it was entertaining but it did kind of jump around a bit, I was also kind of confused about why Andre and Caesar were buddies out of nowhere. Awesome work all around guys, this truly felt like an appropriate finale for an epic tournament.

FFF A-Grade entries all around, gentlemen! Most of the others have given the great big comments, so I'll provide some little morsels. TODK- Great inks, but one thing that was a niggling problem for me were the big black letters on your first page. They were super hard to read, especially since they were kinda mushed together- giving them either a white outline to separate them from the lineart, or else hollowing out the letters (so that it'd just be outlines) would help a ton for readability. The last three pages were fantastic- the final "I AM!" was a great moment. Rofl- Colors were really nice, but they were inconsistent. I'm guessing this is from time constraints, but on Page 5 it had an awesome effect. I thought at first the lack of color was deliberate, sort of like those crazy anime super-attacks. The whole page on the Void Census was wonderfully witty, really loved that dialogue. Guy- Great inks, would love to see them with color/tones. Fight scenes looked terrific. Maybe try some diagonal panels to go along with the speed lines to mix it up? Although that seems more down to personal taste. Like Delya said, all of you guys are fucking phenom. You are ALL Miss Heavyweight Tournament in my mind.

Delya, thanks for the comments. I am sorry that some of those scenes are a bit abrupt. I had tried to show the mechs "waking up" as Caesar and Andre went through the entrance. In my script I had intended to have Pandora pass through because she was not viewed as a threat since she was created there. However, that got lost in the cutting process. I initially planned on juxtaposing Caesar and Pandora in flashback sequences to show that Caesar related to Pandora viewing herself as only a weapon. She was also originally supposed to be awake on the final page for him to talk to her directly letting her know that he viewed her as a person rather than a machine or a tool. Unfortunately those were the primary scenes cut and I had to touch on those aspects through the dialogue which made it a bit heavy handed at times I think. For the final page I couldn't think of how to keep Andre in character and have him back off of killing Pandora with the way I had it written originally, so I knocked her out and had Caesar talk to Andre instead. All in all, I'm happy with what I was able to accomplish despite the cuts and I'm really happy you enjoyed it. Thanks! :)

Oh man, I love all of these for realz. DK, your story is amazing. The pacing in your comics is something to be admired. You were able to fit your opponents into your storyline seamlessly. The lines are very rushed- but WELL, we all know why that happens. I know you're capable of far, far more in the artwork department- so I won't bother breathing down your neck about it. Time constraints etc. XD Nice twist at the end, I can't say I expected Pandora to wake up in a new body. I enjoy surprises! Rofl, bro- that was pretty kick ass. I gotta admit, I had trouble following along- but it wasn't something a second look couldn't cure. I dig your heavy, grungy inks and coloring. Really suits the dark mood of your story. You included Caesar and RTV! almost flawlessly. I had some issues with your portrayal of Pandora- not so much her actions, but the "why" behind it. I may have missed something along the way in past comics, but she was the most out of character in any of the battles here. She's supposed to have an innocence about her that you seemed to have stripped away completely. Other than that, I have no big issues with your comic. Sweet stuff, bro! Guy, those inks. Very sexy. I love your ability to control the softness or harshness of your inking to fit the mood/scene. Definitely got some high quality points on that. Your story pacing was pretty good, though some scenes seemed to kinda fly outta nowhere. (like all the security bots attacking Caesar and Andre, but not Pandora) Some of the dialogue felt a little forced- but it wasn't anything too distracting. Your portrayal of each character was well done, they felt like themselves. I enjoyed muchly. :) You've all done a wonderful job in this tourney. I would be pleased with any of you taking home the title. <3

Hahaha Iketeru, that last bit there made me laugh about the team ups. Anyway TODK: Dude, you know I am a huge fan of your stuff so that goes without saying. I think that your entire story arc lately with Pandora has been top quality stuff. You managed to weave your opponents into an overall story that has quite a bit of depth to it and twists and turns along every way. You are one of my favourite people on the site right now and I'd love to fight you one day in the future. Great stuff all around man. RoflQu: You've consistently impressed me throughout this tournament too dude. Its cool to see you like Andre more now that you have done this tournament and I think you really surprised a lot of people for putting out the quality of work that you have been, as well as experimenting with more digital methods than I am sure you are used to using. I liked seeing Andre sort of develop a bit as a character. Your stories certainly are ambitious dude, and at times it feels like you really bit off more than you could chew, but all in all you did really well across the tournament. What you have here for this round is great and I really love the way you draw RTV. I think you draw him super badass man. IKGuy: I admit I wasn't even really familiar with your work in the past before this tournament but I have really become a fan of it all. I think out of all the rounds this was my favourite art wise from you and it had a lot of nice drawings. Your work is super clean and very detailed where it counts and I liked your story too. Its sad to hear that you had to cut so much because I do feel the emotional impact that TODK's had in his story versus this one was lost, but it was still great. I loved the way you drew Pandora too. All in all man I have really become a fan of your work during this tournament :) Great job everyone. I really don't have much in the way of crits this time around. You guys are all awesome and you all deserved making it this far.

Wow. You guys both did great! I really enjoyed reading both of your sides a lot. I hope you enjoyed mine as well. TODK: I thought it was weird seeing Caesar as an FBI agent, but it was still a cool interpretation of the character for your story. I hoped he would fight a bit, but it made sense to have Andre be the muscle. The Mr. Search and Mr. Destroy names were great and had a bit of a Tarantino flavor to them. Great story as usual. As you know, I'm a huge fan. RoflQu: I really like how your work is evolving-especially your coloring. I enjoyed your use of Caesar and the bit with him and Rtv was quite cool. I liked it a lot. Andre's "Dagobah moment" was a nice touch. I'm really glad you entered this tournament and that you did so with Andre. As for mine I hope that everyone enjoys it. I had intended to make this a full 22 pages at the start, but I barely had enough time to get this much done even with the extension so some stuff inevitably got cut. Overall I'm pleased with it I guess. I think it would've been much better with the additional scenes though. I think it would've been a little bit more emotionally poignant; or at least it was intended to be. I am thankful to everyone for their comments and critiques and all of the scores that helped me get this far. It's been a blast and an honor to be part of Void's biggest tournament. On a side note it's ironic to me that both tournaments I've been a part of on this site have ended with Caesar teaming up with a dude with Dragon Ball like powers against a girl.

IketeruGuy: I knew you'd have a good quality overall, but a story this solid is the best one I've seen from you so far ;) Fighting scenes were excelent, and those small miss steps in small background detail (mostly people's faces getting less love) is something that can be easly forgiven with such pagecount ;) RolfQu: This one has the best plot you've done so far (I think), however with audience attention going all over the place it wasn't as character driven as your opponents. The plot twist at the end was a nice touch, and it kinda made me want to do something with it as a VCPD member if you were to win ;) The One Dark Knight: While the detail is overally very good, the anatomy isn't as tight as IketeruGuy's, which isn't a deal breaker when what you really deliver is story departament - and gosh did we get it XD There are so many ways you can go from here with lose ends you created for yourself, while having a complete story and a clousure at the end. It's an awesome how everybody had Andre and Ceasar cooperating to take down Pandora - while some might complain that it makes story less creative, I'd say that it's a prove that a well build world with continuation story can be a good source of influance ;)

Excellent comics, people. More indepth comments later... I feel so inspired now!

Just in generall,..this was really awesome,the first tourney thing i have read since i am back to be honest, but the overall quallity portrayed in al 3 stories is just amazing. Pandora:awesome character,really nice lines,..but do tend to get mixed up in some panels due to al the details that you have putted in the backgrounds and such,overall a pretty good read. do miss some seperations sorta to make the background and characters stand out,but with 16 pages its understandable. Andre:really loved the pacing in your story,how you went back and forth between the 2 ''hero's'' to bad some pages are not colored,but i think you know that youself as well. i do felt like the sudden change and kill of pandora was a bit of a ''let finish it off'' kind of discision...but do love the fact how you managed to get rtv and even warsaw into the storyline ! overall a good read. Ceaser:Damn man,..your lines are so freaking tight its insane,really loved how you handeld the artwork part on this,really nice. Storywise it was the most straightforward one,wich is not a problemn,but compared to the other guys who dive more into the guilt factor of pandora,and her personality,you went over it pretty fast.not really a crit. but just something i noticed.anyway nice work,and your lines are so solid,that it can do without color. overall i really really enjoyed reading this stuff ! good stuff !

I tried my best, folks. Finals for school really cut into my comic ti hermee and I couldn't perform what I wanted. I'm also sorry to Iketeruguy. I really feel like I short-changed Caesar in this comic and kind of shoe-horned him into this plot. I hope no one is too disappointed. At the very least, it isn't a default. I learned a little bit about doing action comics out of this and I really can't say I hate Andre anymore. I certainly didn't expect to get past the first round, the second round, or the semi-finals. This entire tournament was a lot of fun, but the longer deadline is ultimately much much more exhausting than the SDT is I think. That said, I'd love to see it done again down the road. Maybe in another 6 years? And I can get some rest finally. Hopefully next tournament I can do better.

You fought valiantly and managed to destroy them by hitting a glass of water with your elbow which was their one true weakness, but a few pages were sadly casualties in the incident. I know this is what happened.
