tdkgunghoul: Hey, this was a really daring attempt and it's cool you managed to get it all done! You've done a lot of terrific shots and I can tell you really worked out to impress on this and earn that win. You really incorporated more blacks into your work and it seriously makes your stuff look much better. You did a lot of daring shots and daring poses and you really should be commended for it. Some of your shots read a LITTLE unclear. Specifically page 3's final panel. I think it's because you suddenly altered the water's composition there from the first panel with it by going from 'smooth triangles and shadows' to 'thick empty lines' emulating the ripples from Red Rabbit's fingers. You need to work a LITTLE on your handwriting. It could be a little neater and it's just as important to you, the artist, and us, the viewer, that you keep it in tip-top form by practicing it. And you're still doing those sketchy blacks! Get yourself a sharpie, man! That sketchy fill in does not look good and is not helping you in the least. Those spots you don't fill in get noticed and detract. I hope you're just as successful next round, because this was definitely the best thing I've ever seen from you. Great job! WilliamDuel: I'm glad you gave us something, because these sketches and unfinished pages still speak volumes for the story you had intended to give us. Really for all your problem areas, you've got a really masterful hold on your blacks usage. I love how you do Red's arm and leg bands and you draw really lovely hair. I also loved your action sense for this comic. The almost cartoonish way Soldat hits Kars was really amusing too. Your faces and studies are really coming along man, but some spots could use work. The lips on Dr. Fabulous in that first page are a little large and misplaced, I believe. But honestly, that's one of the few problems I really noticed, because you've really improved on the uneven spots. I know you've got a big load on your plate right now, but I hope one day we can get your full story for the All-Together Now! Tournament.

My composition tends to get thrown out the window on a rush job. Will, man, now I really wanna see a properly finished edition of your piece.

tdk, both story and art were all over the place, so it was a bit hard to follow properly. Also, not enough Kars! D:< william, much better than a default indeed, at least we get to see the potential.

So I'm home earlier than expected. Sorry for the flipflopping but shit I dunno where the next stop is. I'm fucking scanning my shit now all thanks to a busted car battery. Ah welll either way I didn't get to work on any of it so it's just liuke when I fought red in the sdt. But it's better than a default I guess.

So I guess I will be defaulting because I can't get home to my stuff and won't be able to scan any time soon. When I get to it, I'll finish up and submit it after the voting period.

I'm sorry to do this to you tdk, but you know this is nothing new, I've been thinking about it since the beginning. I had fun here at Void and learning about art for about a year. But it's the end of the road and this is as good as it gets. I'm not a comic artist. I never will be. So I leave that to everyone else. It's been fun.
