Kura: You always do an excellent job in the Entertainment department. I wasn't disappointed. A rambunctious romp through the wild west! You pulled off the theme really well, and it was a lot of fun to read (and I'm not just saying that because of the cameo X3). The backgrounds were kind of bare, but I was never confused as to where the action was taking place. I hope you continue to improve your linework.
Dee: It's a bummer you didn't finish, but what DID have was gorgeous stuff. I hope a complete version sees the light of day someday, it looked like you were having fun for the first two pages at least. And Dee with extra-long hair is hot. |D
Nice to see you guys back, I hope you stick around for a while.
That western theme stuff was so cool! I was dissapointed that you didn't finish dee, I'd really like to see how this story pans out if you can find the time to finish it some time. Kura, nice job. I got no good crits to give on this stuff.
I like this comic Kura the art was good and it flowed well. I understand your character believes she shows her love thru hurting people but i feel like it would be more effective if you eluded to it more than odviously stating it thru Satins speech, but other than that very nice
Kura-it's good to see you back! I was impressed that you managed to finish even after having to restart. You had some good character interaction and good pacing going on. It also looks like you're getting better with inking, I didn't see many of the super thin broken lines you had in the past. I would still like to see you spend some more time on your backgrounds, while it's not necessary to have crazy detailed backgrounds for every shot, the establishing shots are where it counts. Towards the end you also got a little messy so I hope you take on a longer deadline for your next battle. I hope you intend on sticking around this time!
D6016-You had some very nice things going on with your backgrounds and the details were lovely, but I think you could have cut out some of the detail on the wood. You were having some problems with things blending into one another though like Dee started to blend into the background on the first page bottom middle panel. I don't know what all happened, but you've had problems with taking on short deadlines in the past with the UDT as well. I really think it would help you a lot to take on longer deadlines so you have more room to breath. Life happens so the longer deadlines will also help in the event stuff happens.
Oh no Dee, what happened? :C The first page was really funny.
Kura--the backgrounds are really weak compared to the figures, and that bartender looks kind of flat compared to the other characters, mostly in the face..
But the story was entertaining. I especially liked the costumes :3
Great idea to have a Western theme :D
