Man, this is a big project, and considering I could NEVER do anything this, I respect everyone who gave it a shot. It was substantial, and overall, the story keeps you reading. People did what they could, and that's cool with me. And also, it's right around the holidays where your family is barking at you to spend time with them. Given the situation, I can't complain much.

This was the bomb.........Sorry to see so many of you didnt pull the \"A\" game in this,but I liked what I saw anyway.....My votes are submitted and then......May the best man (Tree,Space thing) win.......

But man.... you keep bringing up shit that you made PERFECTLY clear were your thoughts 2 weeks ago, and even before then. We KNOW you didnt approve of them, and we know you still dont. Its like yer trying to fuel a fire thats been trying to burn out now ever since it started, and you were one of the main accelerants to begin with. They had a bad run. It HAPPENS. Get OVER it, and worry about your OWN shit. Its not like you always turn in Frank Miller calibur yourself. DROP it.

Loved everyones pages, jus took a long while to read but it was worth it all!Everyone has a few flaws but hey, if we dont have flaws, than we are no longer human....

I think that Hieme's wrap up of the whole situation works pretty well, despite that he kinda skipped a beat in the sequential nature of the action part of things. And his drawings very much died, but the humor to the ending made for a very fitting conclusion, a good contrast to all of the hard-hitting action that happened in the middle. Hieme, maybe you should play to your strength more, which is the stuff that happens after the action. And maybe the two endings (defender and threat) are partially reconcilable anyway. Felony, good job holding up your end of the bargain all on your own. Defenders, kudos on a story that, in the end, meshes together just well enough, considering how your many different styles were thrown against each-other. My only disapointment was with Konchuu-man, out there on the fringe of everything and disconnected, but if we just take his story with a grain of salt, as some seperate viewpoint of part of the events, even that can be forgiven. All hail the story of void! *salutes*

It's mainly because of voodoo, hiemie, and lysol's entries that are dragging the scores down alot, and frankly I'm not suprized. If those three weren't in this fight you can bet that the defenders would be in the lead by alot!

Frankly, the results of the voting so far are bumming me out.

I really enjoyed both sides of this battle more than I expected i would. There is too much for me to comment on specifics, and the fact that i read half of it 2 days ago and finished the rest today doesn't help either. I gave my vote to Viridius, but who knows how it will turn out. I can't see how this changes Void either way.

Wow, this is a lot of stuff to sift through right now. I still have Space person, Kure, Voodoo and Agent Black to read through. And if I wasn't so retardly hung over right now I could probably think of some coherent crits and read the rest of it, but so far this is some really good stuff.

again troubles with some pages; kure's pages 21 to 23 is messed up. what would be page 21is lost and 24 shows up twice. but fuck all that now. toast, all defenders and fel.. just mindblowing stuff here. now I'm gonna save all these so I'll have something good to read at christmas. can print em out at school. it's only about 220 pages afterall. mwahahaha~

Ok... something deleted my last comment so here's a quick recap Fel: Awesome, artwise this was great, however the pan outs and close ups got extremely annoying, and the story was very choppy, you got to fix that in the future man! Other than that, you were pretty fucking AMAZING! Jingu: Great fight! One of the best I've seen from you yet! Loved how you started this off, lots of personality and attmosphere in the begining and I love that! Draco: Way to continue from where JJ left off! Only complaint is that there's too much negitive space in the fight, fix that up man and add in some details man! Other than that, I'm giddy about all the character cameos Mize: Man, you are a machine! With all of those fights and armageddon, respect +10! Only complant is that I wanted to see more. Though I must admit having the comic change from draco's to your colors was pretty awesome! Monday: YOU FUCKING BEAST! Awesome, purely awesome at how many pages you had! Only complant is your lettering... messy and lots of edits. I don't like seeing black bars in text and word edits... looks very sloppy and unprofessional! But other than that your art was just as good and you kept the story going nicely! Voodoo: Sucks that work and a new child gave your artistic sack a good kick, but hey, can't complain about money! I'll admit that even though you didn't have much, I'm suprized you had something for us regardless! Respect +5 man! Kure: Awesome! Love how you played this out man, a few good laughs, then things start to heat up and violence erupts! Loved your half most of all! Hiemie: What the fuck happened to you!? In all honesty I just don't like what you have here! With all the building up Jing and the others did, this just seemed to me like a cheep cop out. But you must of been busy with something else at the time I think, but please do better with your next fight. If you don't though man, I won't fight you like I promised. Lysol: Man... 5 pages for a seperate story that isn't completed... if you didn't want to fight in armageddon you could of just said something. NeoIcarus: To clarify, Lysol WAS indeed doing his own thing. The story conceived by the rest of the Defenders ended with Space Person's segment, and Lysol started to create his own, separate version of the battle, but it appears as if other things took his interest (I saw the new character of his go up today).

I'm baffled, this shit is way to awesome...... This was one of the most incridlible things I've seen in a long while, from all sides. Viridius pages were so freaking hot, yet the defenders pages (and that story arc!) were also hotter then hell. I like how all the cameos were incorperated, made it all so vivid and alive, I found myself trying spot the characters I recognice on every page. Even if I found it hard to read Sps pages when they felt a bit incompleate, it's all good. My only grudge is that I never got to see Voodotatoon put in pages as I love his character but yah, it's all good Awesome work... just plain awesome...

This is truly a masterpiece of collaborative story telling I mean I expected to read 9 diferent sides of the same fight but a story arc....totaly unexpected I loved this and can't wait to see who everyone votes for

I suggest reading Kure's stuff in the forums before voting if it's not too late. They are quite good and he deserves the points. Everyone did a great job. Though I wish SP's pages were a bit more complete and (maybe it's just me), but I couldn't really make heads or tales of Konchuu-man's pages. All in all, a great fight. (I especially liked Fel's splash pages.)

I regret not being able to see the many pages missing from Kure. Other than that the defender's side was pretty accurate, stable, and consistant untill it reached a point where comprehension couldn't exsist. It seemed as if everyone was following up on eachother's story but then it all came to a screeching halt. It's probably me but, without being able to read those missing pages it's really hard to earn any really good scores. My opinion is that Fel's got this battle even with those missing pages. You all held your own as best as you could and I loved every page you guys posted up because it was part of something great. The kind of greatness that haves value that cannot be purchased. You all contributed your imaginations to a gathering where artists can be and do what they live for. Whether its paneling, drawing, coloring, scripting, creating well thought out characters or just plain old beating the shit out of another artist- every member on this sight does what they love and shows it. Surley all of you have shown this in this great event of Armageddon 2005. I bow to you all. good shit

First off, I'd like to say that in spite of the hardships all the participants faced in getting things done for this event, the process of making Armageddon as a Defender was throughly fulfilling. I'm fortunate to have been able to work with such a talented group of artists, and I believe that the camaraderie and the skills of the artists involved have improved as a whole. There are many I would like to thank for making all this possible. Thanks to Toast for allowing me to participate in Stpl's stead. Those are very big shoes to fill and I've done my very best for this event trying to meet that challenge... ...to Jing, for working with me from the beginning and putting up with my half-established plot elements all throughout the process. ...to kommerade Mamoru, for giving me the moral support to get through this ordeal. ...to Monday, who formulated the backbone of the story and propagated a vision of the full involvement of VOID as it would be in a time of crisis like this, a vision that inspired me and gave substance to my work. ...to Voodoo, for his fire early on in the process. Even though he couldn't participate fully he was clearly the most on top of things at the beginning, very inspirational. ...to Kure, for the idea of team attacks; not that it has anything to do with Armageddon, but it's an idea I really like and want to incorporate into future battles, plus it helped me to get into the mindset of team dynamics, no shit XD ...to Hiemie, for laying it out as a \"classic hero's tale\"; after that the flow of the story became clear to me. ...to Fel, for creating Viridius and offering a solid challenge. I couldn't tell what the hell was going on but those pin-ups sure looked nice! ...to all those I featured in cameos for helping to add to the VOID flavor. ...and finally to you for reading this. I believe that my colleagues have created something truly inspirational. I will utilize the skills I have learned in the process of making the Armageddon to help realize my vision of a united VOID community! Whoever is victorious, the Threat or the Defenders, I believe that this is a victory for VOID. Thanks for your time everyone.

ahh 47 pGES, sorry guys, there were more pages intended for this ; I kept it short from the intended story arc and omitted some twists to the plot(ie. Kure , Sps, Voodoo's and BLack's \"flashback\") because I wasn't able to finish the last 15 pages that was to wrap all this up. i do however, intend on finishing those last pages just for the sake of fleshing out this story. Cheers felle, i cant wait to see what you got. I have to say that this is one of the harder projects ive worked on. Making a continuing story with other artists was not as easy as i thought it would be tho it was totally worth it, ive learnt alot from doing the armageddon and ive also gaind alot of respect for my fellow defenders as artists and as friends. :P NOW BRING ON THE PAIN

ok i want everyone to know we this was the most hardest pressing task to do, we all had work ,finals or lazyness keeping us from prolly doing 100% wat we wanted to, i kow defenders had their struggles like i did. I finished all 40 pages of mines.....THANK GOD lol , lots of parts i like and alot i don't, if i win theres a beyond battle or 2 i need to show yall after i get wit another fighter and discuss it. Well Kids, Im still pissed that I didnt get to work to much on this. I hate being the flake of the group but I submitted what I had. Since we were collaberating on a story, I had the responsibility of telling a chapter. I took the writing of my final draft and pasted it in photoshop for you guys that wanna read what was to have been. Honestly if someone else had done that though I know I would have no interest in reading text documents in a battle so its not for getting any points.
