@Voodoo: THat was a pretty darn fine comic right thar! :D I loved the action. :3 I think the shadows in on your charecters could have been a bit better, they need to look more natural. Even so... this was all very cool :) @saintpio: you're getting better :3 I like the way your always adding the page number in some unique way, I think that's neat. I'd have to agree with Kotori Ky about the clothing tough, try to draw the charecters body first and then add the clothes afterwards. Great stuff, both of you!

Hey. Does this mean I get a zombie possie now? Cause that'd rule! I'd totally be your slave or whatever for that.

Voodoo: Ah, it's so good to see you back and in business. I enjoyed the fight a lot, except for a few of the photoshop effects that I felt took away from the underlying strength. The difference clouds was one thing, but I also felt that you might have over-used the glow a bit. That might just be me. The story was great and I look forward to where you go. I think the ending wasn't too bad, since it felt, to me, that you were leaving the choice up to what your opponent decides for their future battles. I liked that, personally. However, as per my usual habit, I zeroed in on two grammatical errors that made my shriveled little heart cry. On both pages 4 and 8, you mixed up which 'there/their' to use. In both cases you used the possessive form, their, instead of 'there'. It's just a minor thing to most, I'm sure, but it broke the flow for me and made me wince. But then, I'm a horrible Grammar Nazi. Sorry. saintpio: You know, I really have to say you are improving each time I see your stuff. This battle is just building on that, and I enjoyed it throughly. The tone and feel of the story was interesting, and I had to laugh at the idea of a shepherd taking an entire flock to the store. But hey, it's VOID, and I loved it. There have been an influx of interesting inking styles appearing recently and I enjoy seeing them, too. Variation is a wonderful thing. The clothing is a bit blocky to me, however, and working on how it lays and folds over objects would be a great help. This was a VERY good match and I can't wait to see your future improvement. Kudos.

I liked your take alot Saint Pio. While drawing this I was going on a big 1930's Universal Monster film binge so Your submission took a pleasant direction for me to enjoy. I thought so too Angie. I tried experimenting with a few things and kinda backed myself into a PS corner I couldnt get myself out of without starting over. I'll take your advice next time.

Voodoo-you had some great lineart and it was very strong. Some of the Photoshop effects bothered me though. While the coloring looked fine and I liked the flat coloring of the blood, the difference clouds didn't work so well. No matter what you do, never ever touch Photoshop filters until you have a very firm grasp on the program. I think for you cel shaded would work much better than the soft coloring, it would really look good against your lineart. Storywise I'm looking forward to where you take this, it was a shame the story seems to cut off at the end. saintpio-I really enjoyed the look and feel of your side. It went extremely well with the tone of the story and you did nice with the ink splatters. Be careful with everything becoming the same tone though, it can make it difficult to differentiate things from one another. I think my favorite panel was probably the last panel of the 5th page because the lighting worked extremely well and there's a definite difference between the foreground and background in tone. Continue to work on your technique, anatomy, and clothing folds, you're improving all the time and this was a step up from your previous battle.

Uploaded. This was a lot of fun for me to draw up...like I was directing a horror movie and I got to make everything go the way I wanted it. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

Uploaded. I still feel very novice on Photoshop but I had learned quite a bit throughout working on this submission. Theirs a lot I'm still not satisfied with on this submission but I think I used my time as efficiently as possible to make a decent battle. This was pretty much drawn exclusively at the office every day on my Lunch breaks. Can't wait for April 30th! Hope you guys enjoy it.

And Technically this is the first battle in void to involve a resurrected Void fighter since Ji Kei never did anything after winning the Speed Resurrection tourney. Void History baby.
