dude, after reading wei's post i felt like i was being lectured. heh
as for the fights i think it was just sloppy not to have faces, the most important thing on a character, their liviness(not a word ?) missing. that hurt your fight big time for me. BIG time.
As for kure i mean i did get some entertainment out of it. not good, not bad, nothing to remember but decent. it lacked depth for me.
both of these are unfinished( and I know all about unfinished entries ) and both have issues....but in my opinion fel's is the stronger entry...
...kura's looks more like thumbnails pushed as close to a finished comic as he could take them.....where fel's is actually a in progress comic.. to be honest with the exception of text and a few extra minutes in photoshop....fel's comic is much more 'finished' than kura's.......kura's is just sketched out with a bit of colour and text....it's like Kura is afraid to put pen to paper...uncertain....lacking in confidence....there's barely any finished linework or rendering here.....it's quite lackluster especially considering the unfortunate choice fer plot and reliance on tired convention
fel actually tried some stuff and worked the creative side.....he also succeded in his efforts moreso than kura....there's more talent and more effort there....but there's also greater success in his efforts
fel's is unfinished and he is capable of a lot better....but Kura is capable of a lot better too

Ugh, I wish feedback on this site extended further than \"This sucked\". Seriously guys.
Fel: Well, I don't want to hound you on stuff you already know, because I know this was far from your best. But for what you did turn in, the action was kind of unclear on certain spots, like page 3. On page 4, the 'dynamic perspective fist' punch doesn't look right; you have her in the pose on panel 3, then on panel 4 she's in the same pose hitting Veronica, as though she didn't really swing her arm at all, rather, just stuck her arm out and flew at her. Dunno if that was your intention or not, but it came out awkward-looking nonetheless. Your line quality was nice, but what your linework usually lacks (that your colors usually pick up) is attention to detail; a comic with nothing but linework benefits from having lots and lots of details tossed in to make everything rich and vivid. The wind effects were neat, but the rest of it kind of fell through. Here's hoping to a complete entry on your next comic.
Kura: I've already said my piece on this IRL, but I'll summarize it on here. I enjoyed the surprise transition from the 'pageant' back into the courtroom, and I especially got a kick out of SG's \"cross-examination\". I think this is a creative way to handle Veronica as a non-combat character, and a refreshing direction from all the other \"FIGHTFIGHTFIGHT\" storylines. The art, of course, could have been a lot better (but you already know that), and at best, the humor was charming.
Votes go in Kura's favor. Even if it was very low-key, Kura's comic got a reaction from me at best.
FeL: The fact that you have so much shit going on and still managed to submit impresses me. Kudos
Kura: yeah not feelin the court thing and your comic seems to have a lot of empty space.
Give fel a break, it's not easy when you have to sneak around to put your stuff online. That just shows how much he doesn't want to dissapoint us.
Oh and Kura, that court stuff sucked ass...sorry, but it does.
FeLoNy: I like the different special effects drawings, those wind tornado things are awesome. I also like the simplified but accurate fighting poses.
Kura: Better than I expected, I was a little suprised at the kind of different look to your colored pages but it makes sense fully read. I think you didn't keep the color of veronica's dress the same shade the whole way through though, watch that.
Points to Kura: 7 to 5.5.

Fel - yeah, it just smacks of lazy.
Kura - you're getting better at anatomy, I can definetly tell that. Your super-sharp faces are still a little wonky, especially now thaty our bodies are people more fleshed ou. The colours were kinda...strange, and the story a little all over the place, but it wasn't bad dude! I'm glad to see some improvement from you.
i know mel, gabe already gave me the lazy speech, but until i find a new home to set up at i'm stuck trying to sneak my fight while at work. If i even make it to the next round...which i see no reason to...only option i'll have is to do over time

You're getting lazy, Mister. I suggest taking more time on your stuff. I want to see EPIC work from you. Your females look like males in these pages- I think you should give a variety of styles to your noses and face shapes.There's basically NO STORY whatsoever either.. but Well, I'm glad you turned in something at least.
Kura, I expected a lot more from you too. For something so worked up like QoV- you could've done A LOT better quality then this! Both the art and the story. All your fights lately I find boring cause it ends or takes place in a court room- c'mon now..

i'll trade ya, i'm in the middle of finding a home..luckily my job lets me use the scanner.....the comp...the complete adobe package.....its just not getting caught thats killing me
