Mr. Saturday, your battle had me cracking up on just about every page. In my mind, that's the best a battle can do.
In other words, you're the best.
Fish! I love Deadmeat, and I love the story that you told here (Kure+Ayako+Deadmeat+Joe+Pye=FTW), but I wish you had at least a finished pencil layer or something. A lot of the panels were confusing because they were unclear.
Of course, Kure punching out that wolf-thing was awesome.
WHERFISH god that was awesome, story wise this is the best from you so far. I wished it was finishe,d oh god. Now I have a higher expectation from you >:D. Storywise you win over Mr. Sat, but quality wise.. sorry :(
Mr.: cool! I like how simplistic it was, and you finished your entries. It made me smile, but I feel it still lacks something- the overall feeling makes me feel like there's something left to be desired but I cannot point my finger on it...

Fish, the first time I read this, I really disliked it. But on a second read I looked past the horribly unfinished art and saw the awesome story for what it was. I'd venture to say the plot was more entertaining than Mr. Saturday's...I would've loved to see this get the proper inking treatment. I'd especially love to see Pye (great cameo, by the by) getting eaten.
Mr. Saturday, the story was really cute if cliched at times, but you threw in some really creative little details that made it unique. I loved the art, and your nice little response to everyone's calls for a romantic story was well-done. Great debut, and you get the win from me.
I have to say, I really enjoyed both battles.
Saturday's side was cute and, ofcourse, more finished, but I enjoyed piraticalfish' side more eventhough it was so sketchy, the script and such was very amusing.
I hope to see a more finished Deadmeat comic and a more creative Zombie Joe comic next time.
Deadmeat's battle was funny and confusing at the same time. :B I liked it, though~ the unfinished art was still alright and mostly easy to follow. Nice!
Joe's battle was cute~ the art, story, entertainment- very cute. XD Haha, I diggit. Also, very nice! I enjoyed this battle a lot. :D
Wow piratical fish! To be put blunty, your art was unfinished and sucked a whole bunch - but your story was MORE than entertaining enough to make up for it!
Oh Mr. Saturday - a good solid entry for your first battle, good entertainment decent artwork too, a bit too gray but whatever.
Good stuff saturday. It was a nice read with some funny parts and good use of movie reference.
Fishbot, I liked it. Great use of Void characters I just wish you had time to clean up those lines. There were parts where it was a bit hard to follow.

Saturday, I'm very impressed with your art, the style is unique, but when it shines it really comes out well. That said, I'd like to see your coloring be more consistent, as it bounced around from flats to cel-shaded quite a bit.
