Gregly: "He doesn't even go here!" Definitely a step up here. I kind of feel Rue's insistence on helping and/or her death could have used a little more presence in its depiction, so that her death comes off as less of an afterthought.

Neens: "That's a lot of nuts!" Pff, that peanut hood is the cutest thing. I this was fun writing and adorable art, though I must say, that after that "Go.... bananas" joke, I almost expected a more ironically food based demise.

This was wonderful and I think everyone did a great job! I really loved both stories in completely different ways. One made me laugh, and one made me feel very serious!

Gregly: It looks like you put a lot more into this round compared to the last one! The full color, the different angles and environments, it looks real baller! I love that even Charkley's storm clouds are shooped in, and the little Shutterstock watermarks. Details, mang.
Neens: Your writing and art style are both so funny and expressive and I love it! I laughed SO LOUD at the "bananas" joke. Any intersection of cute, charming, and ambitiously homicidal tends to win me over. She's super fun.

Gah I knew this one would be hard for me to vote on I love both so much Gregly, as soon as I saw the storm I called the threat so great job on making it readable and fun! and Nina I loved the pacing in your comic sooo much it just flows sooo smoothly I cant help but love it.

Gregly: I won't lie. Charklie as the great evil got to me in the best of ways. I think I was cackling like a madman for a full five minutes.  a very nice and to the point comic, I found myself enjoying the humor of it and I quite liked that color palette.

Neens: Wormwood is such a good character. All around a solid comic, love how expressive you made Wormwood in this and that use of spot blacks is super efficient! The last panel is the best goddamn reaction face image I ever seen. I am using it for everything.

@gregly: I think I like page footnotes instead of panel footnotes for defining words. I thought it was interesting that you left some words undefined, although I'm not sure why. I think using Charkley as the ultimate evil was pretty great, and the student–master dynamic is fun to see. BUT YOU FUCKED ME UP WITH THAT LAST PANEL GDI DON'T EMOTIONALLY MANIPULATE ME WITH THAT POST-STAMPEDE SIMBA–MUFASA SHIT. I can't handle it *crying forever*

@nina: Eyyyyyyy I reconice that demon girl sticker! And some other stuff, of course. I love how you both went for the apprentice route, although this comic felt much more focused on Rue being an apprentice rather than just helping with a singular event. I absolutely love all the little background details, the dumb puns, and the ridiculousness of "forbidden seeds." Seeing a baby Rue was fun, and it very much makes me want to see more of her growth into the badass witch she was always meant to be!
