As far as character introductions go, this is just stellar. The moody palette, the charming dialogue, the subversion of expectation - i'm very excited to see what these two get up to!

 I already drew Familiar so you already know I love the design but I figured I'll leave a comment too! I am just over the moon to see your take on an eldritch being and making her cute as a button. Wallace's design is also A+ with the extra effort put in with the animated text. I wasn't expecting it and it gave me that extra creep factor I was hoping for.  I already need more of them lol

I love how your color scheme ended up being limited to the primaries. You've got bright reds, yellows, and blues and the way they blend with your coloring style is absolutely wonderful. It creates such a nice mood for this! Its also really inspiring!

Adorable. An utter cutie patootie- and it eats books too! I need to know more about Wallace fo sho. Also, while I'm sure its labor intensive, that word bubble effect was such a delight to discover upon first read. Really enhances the character-at least for me. Let's see some battles ASAP. I'm itching to see this duo running amok

Honestly, your work is already so well established the thing I see worth mentioning at nitpicks. The smallest specks of dust a fastidious hand could easily flick off. On page two, when Familiar asks Wallace a question, he seems to be meant to shrug, but I'm not quite getting that from the panel.  Some movement lines, or even a 'shrug' SFX would've really driven that home.

Your characters colors are so vibrant they cant help but stand out amidst your creamy purple backdrop, but I'd keep an eye on your colors. You have a tendency to go really dark as well as have your characters share shades with the BG so they run the risk of bleeding together.

I love your color pallet in this comic and after like the 4th time looking through this I just noticed that Wallace is made up of letters and that's also super cool, how did you do that?

This is really interesting. I especially like the "carefree" attitude Familiar has, though I'm afraid for whoever stands in her way. Since we're not entirely sure what she's capable of, we can still see that she's able to do much. I'd like to see where she goes in battles and even beyond battles.
