Julz - Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I kind of kept them a little general on purpose to give them a chance to grow in the environment of Void. I created them specifically for the site and with the hopes that their story will get more vibrant as they meet and interact with people. I'm all about the character development so I may have gone a bit heavy on the "plain-ness" of the intro as a result. But I'm super excited to have them grow here! Can't wait can't wait.

I'd love to see what kind of story you unveil with this character. Try to let her grow and learn, there is always
 so much you can do with the city of void and lots of cool characters she can spar with. Should be good!

Dansome - Thanks! It just seemed to fit her the best and was something different so I went with it.

Dino - I'm super excited to see how it all plays out with people. So many variables! So many! Endless possibilities! Sky is the limit! Mwahahaaaa!

This is odd to say but i love the fact that Burke  has such a unique and distinguished nose. Usually i see like the anime kinda noses, which is okay, but i like the characters to be really identifiable. Other than that, Artie and Burke are cute!

I'm definitely intrigued to find out what she plans to do with the souls she collects, what the other character gets out of the deal, and what not having a soul means for them.

Spoon - I will totally work on my backgrounds and making them a bit more gritty. I kept them a bit straight line this time because one of the main skills I'd like to work on here is my use of perspective so the straightness of the lines were making that a little easier for now but my hope is to freehand it.

As for Artie, he's kind of doomed to have limited contact. Burke is cool to touch him/grab him/hold him/etc but that's about it. Together they can bargain and collect a soul whereby the person continues to live on for a set amount of time afterwords (just without a soul). However, if Artie makes contact with someone without Burke as a mediator it kills the person and the soul is up for grabs anyway. Burke is free to touch whoever she wants however she wants to though.  Hope that explanation helped and if anyone is still confused feel free to PM me.

Definitely a pleasant surprise to see opening up void first thing. Congrats on getting in and welcome aboard the crazy train, lady! I'd say my only critiques are to really push your backgrounds. I'm glad you have them there, but they should be given as much personality as your characters. I know it can be scary to move away from the ruler when making buildings and cityscapes, but freehanding it I think really adds to the real feel of things.

Also question- are souls taken only when Artie touches people, or is it a combination of both of them? Just wondering if this is a rogue deal in which she can't come into contact with people EVER lest she risk soul suckadge. All in all though, I know a good number of voiders would love to take on a devilishly magical demon gal. Looking forward to more!
