well, despite me beating myself up over everything, I'm glad I was able to put something up to get the scores as they are.  Thanks for the comments everyone.

JAZ, I think you know already how I feel about your work so let me just sum up with YESSSSSSSSSssssss.
Your characters are a delight to be in the company of and having something that continued on from the previous round, as well as having a new and interesting happening was a real treat. Thanks!
I'm actually looking really hard for something to say to help you. I'll go with maybe try some different texture stock/overlay settings? In places I think maybe it might be blowing the colour (hard to tell for sure, thanks to my laptop aaaah)? Hopefully it'll give you some ideas anyway though.

Kura This comic was snappy and good, besides what I said before, I also like in particular the way you've rendered the explosions. While I enjoy your comics I feel like your style is missing something, I can't quite put my finger on it exactly, but sometimes I feel like there's not enough 'Kura' coming through in it. I know you're working hard to get your anatomy to be top notch but  I think maybe you're beating yourself up too much over things? Relax and draw people and for sure work on anatomy everyone does need that but... but I dunno. I want to see a bit more of your personality in it. I'll try pinpoint it a bit more exactly for you if you'd like but I feel like the chances are you intuitively will know it more than I ever could. I think what Coatl said already will help you find it. Chances are you're already doing the stuff, you just haven't applied it to your comics yet.

Anyway yes, both of these are astonishing and I'm super-pumped to see what you both do next.

JAZ! Love that you're thinking out of the box for the racing comics so things don't get samey. The Nyasuu part made me laugh a lot , also I love your colours! (and he totally is the father)

Kura! Thank yooouu For the cameos!  The explosives gag gets me every time oh man, poor Clock and Fric. Anyway, loved it!

Great work from both of you!

Jaz: Gotta be a bit conssistant sometimes, the hands looks funny in some pages and the face shapes in another. They dont stand out to bad, just nitpicking.
But sometimes i had no idea where the characters were like I thought Veronica was in a room in one panel until I realized she was still outside.

Kura:
- You should definately look at art that you admire and inspires and art related to what you're drawing and study the way lines are done and color is used just to get some ideas on what to do to make your stuff better. Like I woulda looked at robotech manga or transformers for the transformation scene or comics that use landscape and falling rocks to figure out how to shape them and texture them.
-Dont forget that when people are ridiing with the hood down, their hair should be blowing back.

Bobo, you will be disappointed in me forever.
Unless I make it to the final round, these comics will be all wack, no race.

JAZ: I knew you would blow my socks off, and you did. I love how you continued the plot from your last comic and tied in the other racers' comics, as well. I'm slightly disappointed that there wasn't any actual racing in your Wacky Races comic, but aw heck how can I complain when I just enjoyed the comic so much? I guess that's all I have to say. :)

Kura: The cool people bridge XD You win right there. Way to step up your game for this one! AND you had that other comic around the same time. Sheesh! I like how you kept the continuity with some of the other racers, as well. OH MY GOSH PAGE 5 made me laugh more than anything else I've read this morning so far. I just... I JUST. I don't even. Hahahahahah. Thank you. Oh man. I loved your comic, man! The coloring was really nice and clean. Way to bring it on for this round; even if you don't win, you are worthy to cross the Cool People Bridge (although I have no idea who would want to go to D-Faults or Deviant City hahah).

I can't wait to see more from both of you, wherever you may draw your next comic!

Just a little while left to go! I can't wait to see what you two have done! I'll be sad for whoever loses this one, but that's how it goes sometimes. Good luck to you both!
